Hi, this is my edited obligatory introduction post. I'm Azalea, and I'm a sapphically inclined millennial. I'm also on AO3.

I fell in love with Arcane, and have ravenously been consuming its fanfics ever since. I find ViJinx fics the most captivating. When I think of true love, I think of our beloved sisters. I have also since started playing League of Legends.

I write fanfics, simply because there are some fics I wanted to read that didn't exist yet.

Reattached on AO3 is a ViJinx fic set in Demacia. I am in the process of writing a sequel.

I am also writing another fic, based on one of my earlier writing prompts.

I'll also be posting ViJinx and Arcane writing prompts in the hopes others find the ideas interesting too. If you do decide to write one please let me know, I'd love to read it!

When reading fanfic keep in mind that for professional literature: 

Short story: under 7,500

Novelette: between 7,500 and 17,500

Novella: between 17,500 and 40,000

Novel: over 40,000

Fics over 40k are literally a novel written and shared for free.  If you have written a 40k+ fic, you have literally written a novel.

Ao3 does not need an algorithm, you're just lazy

Ao3 does not need a 1-5 star rating system, you just want to bring down authors writing for FREE

Ao3 does not need automatic censorship, it is an archive, therefore anything can be posted

Writing or reading about something illegal does not mean the author nor the reader condones it, if that were true, you could never read a story involving anything negative

Purity culture is ruining fan culture and you all are fucking annoying

this whole ao3 disaster just proves that fic writers are essential (!!!) to fandoms. so many people find themselves dependent on these stories and having a 24/7 access to them and they don't really think how much work goes behind that

so when ao3 is up, please let the writers know how much you appreciate them! donate to ao3 if you can so their team is able to support the platform and protect it!
