I feel like a lot of it could come from some internalized self hate? Like I feel like it doesn’t necessarily help that some hair textures actually are more consistent with like the black woman.

And then like of course from there you know. I feel like some people think of natural hair as only being beautiful when it’s damn near perfect because ofc that got that whole thing where black women are only viewed as beautiful when they’re'perfect’ which is B’s.

Also I feel like it doesn’t help that lighter black women usually have looser curl patterns and well you know how that goes🙄
