Choices' MCs are becoming detectives

Why do I feel that Choices is turning all their current books into detective kind of books, and forcing each MC to fucking solve everyone's problem and save the day.

The Junior

MC having to find the one who's responsible for Tyler's car crash, her friends' problems and find evidences to take Beau down.

I'm a college student and I don't even have enough dedication to solve the problems for my assignments. Sorry not sorry

Perfect Match

Having to find out about eros and what theyre up to.

I sincerely thought this was a romance genre book about finding a perfect match. But im not complaining about the plot twist because the story was damn boring at the beginning and had only became interesting after it.

High School Story

Having to prove that MC had been sabotaged about the tryout and finding out who threatened her regarding being the prom queen (I'm not even interested in becoming prom queen). And book 2 forced us to be all detective to take Isa down.

MC oh MC, you just love the spotlight so much eh? but I'm glad my MC get to spend equal amount of time with her LI, so that's not much of a problem to me, plus she's solving her own problem so.. Okay

Bloodbound

Having to find the one who's responsible for all the illegal turnings and figure out how to save Lily/Adrian/The clanless etc Not complaining much because it's a Mystery book

Despite the fact that I love this book, I kinda get annoyed of MC for bringing trouble to Adrian by forcing him to turn lily And persuate the clan leaders to accept her (some people are not interested in her, so why not give us the choice to abandon her). The price to pay for MC's selfishness? Adrian's life

Veil of secrets

Not complaining tho cause the genre is mystery and we have to play detective (same like BB).

Since this book is new, I don't have anything against it yet but I do feel the latest chapter of this book too short when you don't pay diamond to spend time with that guy (I forgot his name, I was so into Flynn that I forgot the other guy here)

PS: btw, am I the only one who wish that Choices can refill our key for every 1 hour instead of 2 hours, i'm dying waiting for my new key after I used up all of my keys :"(

Beau and his tea(ty)?

I had a headache thinking who's the main culprit behind all these messes around MC (she's stupid tho, there's even an option for her to cry for help during the fire scene, I should've just picked that one just to kill her and prove she's innocent ugh)

I don't know why but I can't seem to trust anyone around beau.

1. Kassidy

She invited MC to AOM just to talk about shits when she could have just said them on the phone. Obviously, she wanted MC to come and to be present there so Beau can play his tricks. She also twirled her hair and I don't know if I misread this, but I tend to think a person twirl her hair when someone believe in her lies (or it's just me). She told MC that there would be something big coming (she's hinting MC to get all detective again so that MC can spy on Beau but get tricked along the way). And remember those comments in Beau's blog? she was clearly enjoying Beau doing pranks and she even called his other pranks boring (forking the football field) and she clearly hates MC for being around Nathan (The googly eyes)

So in short, I think Nathan confronted Kassidy after MC told him about her helping Beau, then Kassidy told Beau that MC had been investigating them.

2. Nathan

I am confused with Nathan as he's a love interest and he was the one who suggested MC to investigate Beau but IDK. I think he's a suspect because he invited MC to play the game (I somehow think of this as a way for the MC to get the point/idea of going to the park instead of other places to get to beau). He let Beau slipped. He suggested the idea to split up. Like he should've known Beau better, and had the idea that Beau was heading to the park, but out of all these places checked by Nathan, Kassidy and MC, why MC has to be the one with the correct guess on Beau's whereabout?

3. Sebastian

He was acting strange around MC. But I don't see the point of him being behind this. But who knows if he pretended to hate AOM so that he wouldn't be suspected? Or he only hate Nathan, so he tend to collaborate with Beau? But what's weird is that Sebastian's name suddenly popped out when MC tried to take a guess on who's the mastermind behind this chaos, like why PB? You hinting?

TBH, I don't know anymore. But MC is dumb af, If I were her, I would not follow Beau after he said "Stay hidden but don't follow me blablabla". If Beau was really up for something big and knew someone was there following him, he would totally check on that person, and tried to find him/her and cut his/her tongue. but instead of doing that, Beau let that person slide, suspicious enough coming from a Beau. I knew that he was going to prank MC because he pranked everyone around MC and it was MC's turn but my MC just wouldn't back off and act like she's a damn superhero. At this point, I think she's the dumbest MC ever.

Sorry for ranting. Lol
