Announcement - new blog

Hello, there!

I moved my blog to saracasmr.tumblr.com - this was my sideblog, but I wanted it as a mainblog (as I rarely used my mainblog.)

(1) Tumblr’s main blog/sideblog system is a pain, and (2) I was confused af when I originally made Tumblr.

This blog will act as my archive (I won’t delete it), but to keep up with my posts go follow me on the new blog! I hope to see you over there!

+with a budget of 3million dollars per episode and especially a new show.. It sucks cause if supergirl became really big like 10million viwers or 15 million+ it would open the door for more dctv on cbs which means bigger budget and so cooler effects

I do agree with you on the budget part, but there are certain benefits of the show going to the CW.

- More crossovers with ex. The Flash/Arrow. More easter eggs between the shows.

- Because of the CW’s sucess with other superhero shows, the demographic would be more accurate. CBS is not the perfect network to have a superhero show on a channel that sends more realistic/drama shows... also, the target audience is younger people, and the majority of the desired audience is on the CW.

I am concerned with the budget/effects, as I have never been a very big fan of CW’s effects departement. The only reasons to why I want CW to do the effects is because it could be a big middle finger to those complaining about the effects, claiming “CW WOULD DO IT BETTER!!”. You never know. ;)

I would like if it got a shorter season so they could afford their amazing cast (if what you say is true, especially about Cat). I would hate to see ANY of them go, and if that is the case we should totally start a fundraiser   it would really, really suck.

A shorter season is also beneficial for the plot, as there is no need for filler episodes in a short, explosive season. (look to The 100 season 1-2)

I desperately hope that they give Supergirl a new chance. I would love to see a bigger budget. The potential is astronomical, and Melissa is simply awesome in her role.

What is "Supergirl"? Supergirl is an American superhero fiction action-adventure drama television series that premiered in 2015. It is based on the DC Comics character Supergirl (Kara Zor-El), the biological cousin to Superman and one of the last surviving Kryptonians.

"Supergirl" was noticeably absent from CBS' list of renewed series this past March.

Supergirl deserves a second season for many reasons: - Amazing actors: Melissa Benoist is Supergirl - Inspirational for many people, young women especially - Funny scenes, emotional scenes, action scenes.. pretty much everything you need - KICKASS women in TV, I repeat, KICKASS WOMEN!

... and that's only to mention a few.

Many shows struggle to find themselves in the first season, and Supergirl is definitely one of the shows that deserves to prove itself. Recent news have been about a possible move to the CW, but as long as it will be renewed, we will be content with it. Let us show the producers that we care about this show, the cast and the crew. 

Supergirl has saved millions of people, now it is time for us to save her. Keep calm and #SaveSupergirl!
