                  I can’t really remember actually having a social life before @immortalhale, and @lenoredauphine. They certainly know how to make their own fun in a town where it’s often hard to find the greener side of the grass --- @trippxblais, @theravenbcy and @wrenfontaine certainly help. But on the other hand, I’d be happy if I could go a lifetime without running into @lxdeveraux or @mcralitywavers again. And if I had to pick a third it would be @quentindrake, not for any reason in particular other than we got off on the wrong foot.

There's so much more to you than Tripp.

Just because you love someone, doesn't mean you should stay with them. Especially if they take actual pleasure from killing. You don't wanna end up one of those pathetic girls who claims they never realized they were living with a serial killer, now do you?

                     I’ve never been more aware of who he is than I am now. Just because a bird has a broken wing do you leave it to die, give up on it because it’s no longer functioning normally? No. Just because @trippxblais​ has done terrible things, doesn’t make him any less capable of doing good. Sometimes you just have to have a little faith.

Why do you stay with Tripp when you deserve so much more?

                           Who am I to decide what I do and don’t deserve. I could care less about that, because I know what I want, who I want and I think @trippxblais just might too. Isn’t that all that matters in the end?

   “My family and I did yeah. Did you?”

                      “No I didn’t ---- but I know what it’s like to loose people you are about and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.”

Tatum Drake:

          “So – is this the part where I go all cliche and say something like ‘take a picture it’ll last longer’ and you get all embarrassed and act as though you weren’t looking at me?”

                        “Tatum ---- look behind us...” Sarah murmured, motioning to the group of friends stood picture ready. “Pretty sure he wasn’t photographing us.”

Zoe Brooks:

“ —– Do you think he’ll stop to take a breath soon? Or maybe pass out from the lack of oxygen?”

                        “Honestly, I’m surprised he’s lasted this far. Begs the question, will he ever stop?”

Bexley Adger:

“Look, I’ve been here ten minutes ok? Calm yourself. I’ll be done in like maybe fifteen and then it’s yours. Cool?”

                       “I think I’ve done enough exercise just watching you, it’s exhausting.”

Tripp Blais:

Brows pulled together, forehead crinkling with the movement as he stared across from her. Trust her? It was such a hard concept for Tripp, having trusted very few within his short life. Knowing what the world was capable of, knowing what he was capable of, the idea of trust was hard to grasp. “I’m – trying.” He stated softly, relaxing as he continued to look at her, knowing that she had never given him reason to not trust her. Despite all that she had seen him do, she still remained here, remained by his side, voiced to him in that moment. A sigh passed through his lips, his head nodding along with her words. Everything had come crashing down around him at once, but during all of it one thing had become clear; he needed her. He needed the stability that she meant, the calm that she brought to his troubled mind. She had always been the one good thing in his life, and Tripp needed to hang onto that, even if that meant opening up in ways he had never before or calming his rather reckless behavior. Her fingers running along his sent a shiver down his spine, his gaze not wavering from her features until lips pressed against his own. His free hand lifted, fingers ghosting over her cheek before sliding into her hair. “I’m sorry – for all of it.”

                       “It’s a start.” She answered in reply, with a curt nod as she glanced past him and out onto the deserted street, moving aside she gestured for him to come inside. And it was just that, a fresh start. Sarah could only hope that he would live up to those words and hold true to them. Because she wasn’t sure she could survive another lie from the male. The hunter was completely oblivious as to the strength of the hold he had on her, and perhaps it was better that way, safer even. What had started off as simple fun had developed into something beyond both of their comprehensions, even if they were only just coming to realize it.  As his voice broke the silence however, brown orbs met blue in silent curiosity. “I’m sorry, did Tripp Blaise just apologize?” Sarah murmured, pulling back ever so slight as her lips twitched into a small smile. Hands reached up to grip his jacket as she tugged him closer, longing for the warmth of his skin against her own cold porcelain. “ ---- Stay with me?” She breathed, unsure of the words even as they left her lips. Everything had happened so quickly, she was once again left with a bad case of whiplash; and a part of her was beginning to enjoy the sensation.

Devlin Clery:

“Why would I not be? Stripper parties are serious business.”

                      “Serious business that you seem to know a lot about.”

Quentin Drake:

“My files that are none of your business. You’re an intern.”

                      “You know, just because I’m an intern doesn’t mean I’m not a trusted part of this so called team. Sean was right, you really do hold yourself up on some high horse.”

Wren Fontaine:

“I’m convinced that plenty of people don’t, their loss.” He shrugged like he hadn’t a care in the world. “Well, you’re on the list now so that’ll change.” Wren was glad Sarah had found someone to put her trust in, even if that someone still kept parts of their life secret from others, it’s what everyone did. “Damn, I should have gotten to you sooner. Don’t believe anything she says about my dancing. If you insist.” He didn’t like the tone she took when speaking about this person he originally thought to be fictional, it set a rather ominous mood. He chose to push that feeling aside for her sake.

                          “My thoughts exactly.” Sarah nodded in confirmation as lips twitched into a smile. “Don’t tell me you’re a tragic dancer? This we have to test out.” She continued, nudging his shoulder with her own as she did. Thankful that the conversation had taken a turn for the lighter side of the things. With everything that had happened over the past few weeks Sarah was thankful admist it all for those around her that didn’t feel the need to drag it up.

Lenore Dauphine:

“And you hear all the bad things, maybe even see them for yourself, but you want him anyway and you hate yourself for it.” There was no elaboration, but Lenny spoke from experience. Because there existed another, the focal point of her ire with Tripp, who also had a reputation of malice and cruelty stuck to him like a shadow. “I guess anything is possible.” She wanted to believe for Sarah’s sake that the momentary glimpse of humanity in Tripp tonight would be enough to save him, that whatever bond he held with her could keep him from tumbling even further into the spiral he was on. But she also wasn’t naïve; hope was a fickle mistress. “It doesn’t need a label to be important, you know. Together, not together… Doesn’t matter. You still have feelings for somebody, even if I hate him. Even if you hate him.”

                              “If I didn’t know any better I’d say those words were said from experience. Would I be right in guessing so?” Sarah quipped, as she looked to her friend with curious eyes. “In this town it certainly feels that way. The number of directions you’re thrown consecutively, it’s enough to give even the strongest of stomachs, whiplash. I wish I could understand how other’s did it.” She said quietly. “I do --- hate him, least a part of me does. But I hate myself for caring about him more. The things he’s done I never thought possible let alone... I don’t know Lenny, but I can’t stop, can’t turn it off no matter how hard. I try. I walked away once, I’m not strong enough to do it again. Not after everything...”

“Okay, but if I did join the council, how often do you think I could initiate stripper parties?”

                    “Wait, you were actually serious about that?”
