[[The post in the image reads: With everyone sharing posts about the “Instagram” model that has raised over $100k (as of an hour ago, she has raised an estimated $500k!!) for the Australian fires via nudes, I want to bring awareness to some unknown realities of the situation.Due to the publicity and her engagement in sex work, she has been unwillingly outed as a Sex Worker to her family and in turn they have ‘disowned’ her, Instagram has deleted her account entirely, and the person she was interested in/talking to has cut communications. 

This is the reality of Sex Work.

We are NOT welcome on social media platforms. We are not always accepted by family, friends, and lovers due to the negative stigma against sex work. Schooling, jobs, and other opportunities slip away in the blink of an eye, all because of how we make our money. The discrimination is very real and very prevalent, and these are just a few of the constant battles we face. Sex work is not “easy money” and it is NOT for everyone.

Please keep these things in mind while this blows up and join us in dismantling the stigma against sex work.
