I honestly don’t know I’d it’s possible to describe how this feels. Something as simple as a tomato has been off limits to me (like most other fresh veggies) for about 8 years, at this point. Today was the first time I’ve been able to eat salsa without being doubled over in pain 10 minutes later. Meet Clementine. 🧡🐶 This sweet girl was rescued from people who were involved in dog fighting. I’ve never seen puppy trauma before, but it looks a little something like waking up in a panic and is absolutely heartbreaking. She also just stares at me after waking up afraid, then goes back to sleep. 🥺 . Sadly, most of her family didn’t make it -- including both the mother and father. I know those designer dogs are cute af, but buying from those stores, leaves animals in places like that. There's no doubt in our mind that with Clementine's temperament, she would've been bait for the others being trained to fight. .
