Giving Harry Potter

I am giving my niece her first Harry Potter book for her 14th birthday in a few days. She's never read them and never seen the movies but she loves to read. I want to write her a message in the front (I write in the front of most of the books I give as gifts) but I can't put into words what I want to say. Can anyone help? If you're a HP lover, you know what those books made you feel. What would you say to a young girl who had never read these books and whose family has never really been into them? How they made you feel, what you would want her to know, etc. it will be short. Not an essay or spoilers. Just thought my fellow HP lovers could help me out with this one.
