This is suppose to be the scene where Kushina meets Naruto. The lighting for the hair was inspired by many anime art styles I see
cant believe women are expected to like cook and birth entire children and be professional workers and fit a beauty standard. like i am not going to do any of that lol
Are we… are we not gonna talk about the grammar of this post… Are we all collectively ignore the lack of commas here or…
can’t believe women are expected to be grammatically correct and know where to place a comma and make sense. like i am not doing to do any of that lol
OP: makes a valid point and observation on women’s roles in first world societies
Commentator: b-b-but the grammar!
I believe the specific issue was the phrase “cook and birth entire children.” It’s true that many of the commas required by formal writing are not strictly necessary to understanding and can be eliminated in informal communication. However, occasionally the lack of certain punctuation can have uh… extremely unfortunate implications. Of course, you could still proceed without commas here, as long as “cook” is NOT THE FIRST THING ON THE LIST.
Yes, the order is totally wrong. You gotta birth the children first, THEN cook them. This is a terrible recipe.

bokuaka couple be like: “Well, it’s worth to try.”
me: “everyone move, i’m gonna adopt hinata!” (╯°▽°)╯ ┻━┻
"I want to write a main character that is eccentric but shines like a star and has a nice catchphrase and is loved by everyone, too!!"
"Bokuto-san is eccentric, but he's like a star, his" hey hey hey" is encouraging, and he's like a main character loved by everyone..."
"It's not impossible, it's just hard"
"But Akaashi, give me your 120%"
"No matter what other people may say... We are the protagonists of the world"
"I know someone just like that!!!"
"... You, the star who carries the Japanese volleyball world on his shoulders, Bokuto-san."
Like it has been pointed out already, every compliment Akaashi's ever payed Bokuto is 120% serious (particularly when he tells him he is 'super normal'). We know that because we have seen how Akaashi sees Bokuto, how he watches him in complete and utter awe (more on that later).
And he's calling him a star. He has done it multiple times (the first time he's seen Bokuto, then when talking to Konoha, then while he had been benched), always when talking to other people. It is the first time we see Akaashi directing this compliment to Bokuto himself, and by the casual way he brings it up on the phone, it seems somewhat recurring.
Upon hearing Udai's idea of an ideal main character, his first thought was instinctively and literally manifesting Bokuto surrounded by little stars, because he honestly thinks of Bokuto as the most lovable, star-like person in the world.
We also don't see Akaashi ever doubting Bokuto would say yes, there's no "I need to convince Bokuto san by complimenting him", no thought process.
He is calling him the star who carries the Japanese volleyball world on his shoulders and he is making it sound like the most obvious and natural thing in the world.
He had no need to say that, he had no need to think about Bokuto at all throughout the events covered by the chapter. He literally measures everyone comparing them to Bokuto??? Because he is so used to dealing with him???
Idk man sounds kinda gay to me
