I really like this because the poses are perfect for their character development as well. Soul goes from that guy trying to act cool and laid-back all the time to a person who is ACTUALLY cool and laid-back. AND THEN MAKA going from being insecure and prodding to being self-confident and LOOK AT HER SMILE.

NOT EVEN TO TALK ABOUT THEIR POSTURE towards each other with young!Soul being distant and Maka learning forward in curiosity to them both smiling at each all cute and confident in their trust for each other and wow, i’m having a lot of feelings.
