I tried keeping a diary in my target language, but my life is pretty uneventful, so here’s some inspiration for topics for everyone who wants to write more than “I woke up, I went to uni, I ate dinner and went to sleep” every day!
write your thoughts on an episode of a show you watched recently
write about a book you didn’t like
write about something you were dreading doing, but ended up enjoying
write about something scary that happened to you
translate the blurb of a book
write about a scene in a game which moved you emotionally
write about what you would do if you were a character your favourite show/game/etc
write about a movie you saw with friends
write about a grudge you have
write about somebody important to you
write about a teacher you liked, and a teacher you disliked
write about an interesting interaction you’ve had with a stranger
write about a particularly difficult customer you’ve dealt with
