The Rittenhouse trial is ridiculous.
It’s interesting seeing the reactions of people just now learning shit I’ve known for over a year because I actually watched the videos of the shooting.

This year, I have paid nearly 34 grand is taxes, so far.
That state and federal?
No state income tax.
Just federal.
As a federal employee, thanks for paying me.
It’s unfortunately unsafe for a toad to live in a shoe, cozy though it may be. Here we see an Asian common toad [Duttaphrynus melanostictus] found hiding in the sneaker of photographer T.R. Shankar Raman.
I evicted a toad from one of my old work boots the other day.
So, I am shopping for a Charger Hellcat, now.
A couple months ago my dad was doing some work for a Dodge dealership. He came in one day and the tricked out Hellcat that had been in the showroom was in the ditch in front of the dealership. There was tire marks where the driver swung out of the lot and fishtailed.
My dad sent me pictures of a big tree frog chilling out on a car he was working on.
@call-me-remi
So, this is my .450 Bushmaster.
Well, I'm not going to work for the next few days.
Fuck that place.
@call-me-remi what happened this time?
Between that fool on first shift going nuts & smashing my monitor, upper management railroading me to work on my birthday weekend despite months in advance and that it's the only weekend I don't want to work & someone wanted the overtime, a manager fucking up epically then tries to pin it on me because I "didn't warn or advise" him on doing something very stupid that will take weeks & several million dollars to fix (and he never approached be about this matter, plus it's part of his job to verify shit) that I'll have to unfuck, having multiple foolish managers thinking I have to do their entire job because part of my job description is to "support management" then get pissed when I tell them I cannot and should not do whatever they are asking for, some even trying to "intimidate" me into doing their job, arthritis is kicking my ass & I am tired.
And all of that was just yesterday. So, fuck that, I'm staying home for awhile for everyone's sake.
Dude, just burn that place to the ground already.
@call-me-remi that’s a lizard
I keep forgetting to send you a picture of Timothy, my tortoise.
Nice!
Everyone, look at this tortoise.
I see that tortoise.
She said cancel culture was akin to the dehumanizing of the jews in early 1930s Germany. She admittedly worded it poorly, and the Twitter mob picked it up and ran with it. She is now no longer Cara Dune, and has been dropped by her talent agency
I see.
I wonder if Disney has employed anyone making similar hot takes yet never had any consequences.
Literally the lead, Pasco Pascal, made the comparison that Modern America is akin to Nazi Germany.
Then there’s Jack Morrissey, a producer at Disney that wanted to see kids thrown in a woodchipper “head first”, because they had the wrong opinions.
Disney is fine with the hot takes, it only matters who they’re aimed at.
It wasn’t worded poorly.
Disney rehired james gunn. You know, the "yes, I made 5000 twitter posts about how I love to fuck little kids but I swear I was obvs joking".
But she went too far, right
There was nothing bigoted or remotely offensive in her observation.
The word offensive is debased now days. It’s a political cudgel to be used exclusively by the prog vanguard.
Saying that the economic, social and political persecution of a group in Nazi germany has parallels with contemporary attitudes and actions is a very good and legitimate observation. The only reason one would call it offensive is to dismiss its validity without discussion and to attack the observer.
Being called a Nazi for defending basic principles of liberty and promoting Austrian economics, both of which are antithetical to fascism, is infinitely more offensive.
Yet I cannot count the number of times I see this on a daily basis for years on end.
Supposedly her stances were offensive to both trans people and Jews but I’m both those things and frankly baffled at how anyone could say she’s a bigot.
From everything I’ve read her “stance on trans” consists of refusing to be compelled to post her preferred pronouns and instead putting something like “beep/bop/boop” in their place.
To say her rejection of compelled speech and insistence she place labels on herself makes her a bigot is either evil or insane.
There is a parallel here with the mask zealots.
It’s not really about the masks or the pronouns, it’s about getting an individual to signal thier submission to an ideological orthodoxy.
@bluelurks Carano’s post was neither hyperbolic or insulting. It was accurate. If you care to challenge it directly do so. Your degree of “offense” is meaningless.
Can you imagine being this stupid and unwilling to admit you’re a biased shill?
“What’s the point of comparing cultural persecution to cultural persecution?? What’s the pooooooooint???”
Fuckers like this will keep moving the goalposts all day long because they’re not interested in being honest, they’re interested in dismissing shit they don’t like
Be careful, @bluelurks may report you for wrongthink and being repub adjacent.

There's this Biden voter here at work that's absolutely terrified of "Trump voters" or "right wing militants" coming through and "killing all of them", in Western Washington.
They're also confused why I'm not more "terrified" of this potentially happening. Especially with me being a black man.
I asked him if he forgot that he lives in western Washington, in a very nice area, where the likelihood of a bunch of angry "Trump voters" coming through like a bunch of raiders & killing his family, is about the same as my chances of becoming Jesus.
And if he forgot that I own enough firearms, ammo & gear to kit out his entire extended family twice over & am very familiar with violent shit. Plus knowing & being friends with quite a few like minded individuals with similar backgrounds & experiences. Along with asking him why he doesn't tool up, if he's so nervous of this happening.
He ended up looking at me as if I had 4 heads, saying how it scares him that "anyone" could just buy my collection asking and could own such "lethal items".
Besides for fun? For the type of shit you're talking about you marble brained fool.
You work with some very special people.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't like this.
That’s a sexy piece
A coworker bought one of those .308 Tavors & said that was going to be his home defense gun.
He shot it at an indoor range today, and is currently bitching to all of us about how his ears are now "fucked".
Is he expecting his home to be invaded by elk or some shit??
Big tech platforms removing Parler from their stores is really something. Not only do they not want you to have a voice on their platforms, they don’t want you to have a voice on anyone else’s either.
My coworkers got me looking at fancy watches.
While I got them looking at at fancy guns.
How about a watch gun
