Safe With Me ~ Sari (open/closed)
Storming out of the cafeteria, Sari was in a fit of rage. It had been awhile since she had been so overwhelmed and she needed a release. At the same time, a desire to separate herself far away from the groups of people she was locked in with seemed to clash with the need of being comforted. It was an internal struggle for Sari, but of course she chose the path that lead her to be alone. Walking down the dimly lit corridors of the school, Sari wanted to get lost. She wanted to find a place that was unrecognizable and lose herself there without anyone finding her. Unfortunately, there was no such place in the school- well, except for the janitor's closet, and Sari was not willing to make that her bastion for the next hour or so.
Still walking around the partially empty hallways, Sari began to feel an intense surge of heat come across her body once again. Leaning against the rows of lockers, she threw her knapsack aside and threw her back against it, slowly sliding down onto the floor. Her breathing began to quicken, causing Sari to desperately crawl after her bag and search frantically through it. Not being able to find what she was looking for, Sari groaned figuring that she had left it in another room. She needed somewhere to go, a place where no one would notice her so she could "fix" herself. Just as she was about to stand, all the functions in Sari's body shut down, cause the twenty-one year old to slump back down again. Leaning over, Sari buried her face within her hands and took deep breaths- just as her therapist had instructed her long ago. With her eyes getting heavy, Sari laid there. Her palms flat on the ground she allowed the cool tiles of the floor brush her cheek.
