The war is won, but at what cost? Harry, Ron, Tonks and many others died in this war. Ron died while searching for horcruxes, despite the loss, Harry and Hermione continue to search. During the final battle, Harry and Voldemort kill each other, Hermione and Remus find Harry's body, in one of the rooms of Hogwarts, he dies in their arms. Dora died from Bellatrix's spell, Remus did not have time to save his wife. After the war, Hermione decides to leave the wizarding world forever, so that nothing will remind her of those she has lost. But after three years she has not been able to return the memory to her parents, out of desperation she decides to return to Hogwarts to live there. She meets Remus there, who was called to be a teacher right after the victory. Returning brings back new memories that are hard for her, she realizes the role of Professor Dumbledore in this war, realizes that they were all just puppets. She and Remus start spending a lot of time together, she helps him check students' homework, they read together in the library, have lunch, Remus asked to teach him to play the piano. Realizing that she must let go of her pain and her friends, she uses the resurrection stone to see them one last time and move on. Now she and Remus are alone here, two broken people who have lost absolutely everyone except each other.
