I did the hbf run for a reason today. It was such a great achievement for me on a fitness and health level. I managed to run the 4 kms in 27 minutes. Only slowing to a walk maybe 3 times and never for more than a minute. This time a year ago I never would've run that distance, and to get in under that 30 minute mark was a huge achievement for me. Next year I'm aiming for under 25 mins!! Feels good to achieve your goals and I'm feeling remotivated to really smash my fitness goals!!!

My fitness journey has been on hold over the last few months. It’s time for me to get back into it and what better way to do it than to set some goals and raise some money while I’m at it! Guide Dogs Australia is a great cause and if anyone can help my reach my goals that would be awesome!
Went to the gym 3 times this week. It’s been raining these last few days which would usually be an excuse to stay at home in my pjs but my gym buddy and I have shot down all excuses and pushed through. Small lifestyle and mental changes will add up to a big end result!

Dropped the ball big time over the uni holidays, I start back at uni in a week and I will actually have some sort of routine in my life again so that is when I plan to kick my arse back into gear.
I’ve drawn myself up a schedule of what days I’m going to go to the gym and when I’m going to do it so that I don’t let it get away from me again.Â
Goals are set and I’m ready to smash it, I will look good in a bikini this summer!! 4 months to go!
Week 2
I’ve let myself down this week and have been really lazy, so I will be having a week 2 do over next week. I was feeling really rundown at the start of the week and I let it get the better of me and my willpower.Â
On the plus side, my diet has been 100x better this week than it has been and I’m feeling really inspired to learn to love cooking and creating things that I haven’t tried before.

Week 1 - Day 3 (pre-training)
I went for a 45 min walk with my gym buddy yesterday for LISS. We didn’t do so well with day 3 today, we made it through maybe half the workout and just ended up in giggle fits to the point where we couldn’t continue.Â
Pretty disappointed that we didn’t do it all, but it has set us a goal to get through an arms and abs workout successfully!Â
Upper body strength is definitely my weak point, I want to be able to make it through all the push ups without my arms giving up!
Diet is also a big issue for me, I went to Coles today and didn’t leave with any junk food so that was a nice little personal victory.

Just completed the workout for day 1 week 1. Wow! Hard work but I loved it. Feel so much better afterwards because I know I completed the whole thing and I have it in me to actually do itÂ

Starting pre-training for the Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide tomorrow. Super excited to start my journey to better health and strength. I’m a serial committer then quitter but I’m feeling really optimistic about sticking to this and reaching my goals!
