lenncnss:
“spit it out,” she urged, bracing herself for whatever unpredictable utterance the brunette may say next — a ghost, maybe. perhaps an unwanted sight of her grandparent going full commando, she pondered her thoughts momentarily before saskia’s tremulous voice fragmented her gaze. “what?!” huffing, lennon turned to face her terror-filled face. “you’re so dramatic i’m actually starting to hate you right now.” it was burdensome for lennon to keep a straight face. she found it completely baffling that saskia had reacted this way to a spider. “you’re not going to end up homeless due to a spider or two, sas. let’s find some bug spray and solve this issue now.”
saskia thinks her eyeballs might’ve nearly POPPED out of their sockets at lennon’s proposal to go face the spider head-on. “ god — you want me to WHAT ? ” she’ll stare at the girl incredulously, beginning to regret knocking on the other’s door ( if saskia had known THIS was going to be her idea ... she would’ve avoided asking lennon for a place to sleep. ) “ i’m still traumatized ! i can’t face it right now — i’ll go absolutely ballistic ! it’s easier for the both of us if you just forget about my situation & instead view me as a simple homeless person — forget about HOW i landed myself in this position — all i need is a place to rest my tired, exhausted head for the night ... what do you say ? ” she’s hoping her pleas have worked ... the brunette would just about do anything else EXCEPT for go back to her apartment right now.
