For everyone complaining that the romance in Belle was a let down, let me clarify:

THAT WASNT THE POINT!

The main plot of Belle was not falling in love, it focused on grief, trauma, and healing❤️‍🩹! And how you can find that in some of the unlikeliest places like the Internet even with its constant toxicity and multiple personas. You can love without falling in love, you can hug without being amorous, and you can connect without being romantic!

If you are looking for a love story with the Beauty and the Beast trope, I’m sorry! Belle is clearly not for you! So stop hating on the movie, saying you’d change or do it this way if you missed the entire plot! Life isn’t about romance, but love! Love of your self, family, friends, neighbors, community, the world, heck even school! This movie explores all the ranges of love except literally the romantic one on PURPOSE!

Die Drei Fragezeichen rough animatic intro

Musik ist das Opening von Gravity Falls, weil… passte eben! Ich habs zu den verschiedenen Titelliedern der Hörspiele versucht, aber das war nichts. Ein anderer Kandidat war das Intro von Amphibia, aaaber ich habe leider erst realisiert, dass es passen würde, nachdem ich schon viel zu viel auf das GF Intro abgestimmt hatte. (Und Anime Intros waren meist zu hardcore für D3F :D)

Wird dieses Projekt jemals die rough animatic Stufe verlassen? Vermutlich nicht (: Aber vermutlich werde ich die Titelcards der Charaktere trotzdem reinzeichnen und colorieren.

Ich hab gelesen, dass Skinny mal auf ein Internat gegangen ist. Jetzt habe ich dazu. So. Viele. Headcanons.

Hier eine kleine Liste:

• Nr. 1: Er schafft es nie, dass seine Schuluniform ordentlich/sauber aussieht. Warum sollte man ein Hemd auch waschen? Geschweige denn bügeln?

• Nr. 2: So viele Möglichkeiten sich zu prügeln?? Skinny sieht probably 90% der Zeit komplett grün und blau geschlagen aus. Sein Ruf an der Schule ist dafür berühmt-berüchtigt.

• Nr. 3: Es ist preferably ein Jungs Internat because: the gay vibes??

• Nr. 4: Skinny fliegt raus. Definitiv. Am Ende wird er irgendetwas anstellen und von der Schule fliegen. Vielleicht droht er ja einem Lehrer. Oder er hat ein Klappmesser im Unterricht dabei.

• Nr. 5: Seine Eltern haben ihn nur aufs Internat geschickt, damit er „endlich lernt sich anständig zu benehmen“. Und vielleicht, ganz vielleicht, weil sie ihn los werden wollten.

• Nr. 6: Nach den ersten (zugegeben sehr einsamen Wochen) hat er sich mit einem anderen Außenseiter angefreundet. Das würde Skinny natürlich niemals als „Freundschaft“ deklarieren und das höchste aller Gefühle wäre wohl das Eingeständnis einer „gegenseitigen Nutzbeziehung“.

Okay ich hör jetzt auf.

But young ladies are different. Alice went through the perils of Wonderland by herself, and Anju helped her brother escape from the bandit’s mountain and was abandoned herself. And if you think about Meg, she was always singing, “People say I can do anything but still / the witch girl Meg is always alone.” Being a maiden is an “absolute existence.” And being “absolute” is by definition “uniqueness” that cannot be compared to others, so maidens need no companions. Like Ken from the gangster movies, maidens have a cool independence. They say things like, “If I open my heart to people I can make friends,” but opening your heart to others is sacrilege, and you mustn’t do that. A maiden’s heart is her glittering jewel, and should not be shown to others recklessly.

A maiden stands coldly like a glass pain that seems like it would shatter if touched, encased in a hard shell for protection, and that maiden, tightly bound in a web of honey and gazing at you all alone, isn’t she cute. There is no need for you to integrate yourself with the common people. Being gorgeously aristocratic like Madame Butterfly is an indispensable part of being an independent princess. For me, my tv and potted plants are my close friends.
