The reason I hate jjk is because all the characters just get killed off, and it pisses me off. Also because everyone praises gojo fir literally nothing. I hate gojoke.. and I'm sorry idc the artstyle is...atrocious...it's like jojos but the characters are on Crack and got unyassifed.

Jjk has no redeeming plot points or chapters like bsd. Most people who like it just like it because it's popular or just because they think the characters are cool. I genuinely do not understand the appel it's just "oh fighting!! And then my favorite character died..." jjk has nothing but death no character development.

They like to say their is but let's be honest there's pretty much not. At least the fighting in bsd is cool, jjk fights aren't even cool or have pretty/neat powers.

Jjk is just "oh op character does this!!" Yeah bsd writing can be odd sometimes but at least asagiri is trying and doesn't regularly make fans genuinely angry and SERVERLY ruin the Mangas plot just to actually kill of characters. Bsd writing may suck but at least it HAS WRITING. Jkk is just At least "oh characters are dying now because I wamna end the series probbly"

Jjk characters are all the fucking aame and have no variety the male characters feel like they're DESINGED to appel to cishet men who like Manga only tbh. All the men in jkk look the same besides 2 or 3 and they just look.....copy pasted amd undistrungushable. and and girls are horrid.

From my understanding I've never seen the characters act multiple dimensional or have different parts of themselves other the the edgy "gotcha" shit.

Also, please understand that SO often the real issue these people have is that they just want to say something inappropriate. They don't like being told they can't say "fag", so they'd say it for a reaction, just like a teenager would.

Shut down the conversation without reacting.

"His dick, not mine" will get you much further to shutting that guy down than "well it's really inappropriate to call someone a slur while I'm the job site".

And that's the point. To shut them up. To make them quit saying shit like that. The first one makes him seem kinda weird for caring about what that guy does with his dick. The second one gives him something to fight against and make a big deal about.

The four way tie between Dhruv, ryu, uro and the cockroach is really interesting. The way their powers interact with each other to form specific counters is such a cool concept but we only see how Uro counters Granite blast

My thoughts are

1. Ryu counters Dhruv because while the shikigami are powerful, we also see Uro basically one tap them, meaning it’s unlikely they’d survive a Granite blast. Seeing as Dhruv is an old man who probably doesn’t move around too much in a fight, this makes him a really bad matchup for a walking cannon who’s shots will just kill the shikigami and then Dhruv

2. Uro counters Ryu because sky manipulation

3. Why does Kurorushi counter Uro? My thought is the sheer number of cockroaches probably overwhelms her. The cockroaches are all sentient supposedly, and Uro manipulates the Sky like it’s a plane, but that probably doesn’t work too well if she gets surrounded the way Yuta did with the tornados. Beyond that her durability is really low, so while she’s preoccupied with cockroaches, she won’t be able to deal with Kuro itself, with festering life sword probably dealing quite a bit of damage

4. Dhruv and kurorushi. The thing is, from what little we see of the old man’s shikigami, they don’t seem to have great aoe? Like they’re single trajectory weapons, and that’s not great against a massive range attack like Kurorushi’s cockroaches. Cutting one or two lines through a swarm of thousands doesn’t do anything, and even targeting the curse itself might not be enough, seeing as it was strong enough to parry hits from Yuta. So what does Dhruv have? My thought is rct. Positive energy one shots Kurorushi, and we know that positive energy can be imbued into a curse technique (Gojo and red). Not every curse technique lends itself to such a clear cut curse technique reversal (attraction and repulsion), but it does give precedent for positive energy being used in an offensive manner or imbued into a technique. Dhruv’s shikigami are auto-targeting, and if he inbues them with positive energy instead, they’ll basically one shot Kurorushi, and since there’s two of them, he wouldn’t be able to block them all for long
