PlayStation 4 to Support 4 Controllers

A lot of people seem to be making a big deal about this. I personally don't care. The XBox One can support 8 controllers at once, but honesty, how often will there be 8 people playing one on console? The PS3 could support 7 and no one even cared. Hell, I've had my PS3 since 2009 and I didn't even know this until today. I don't see what the big deal about only 4 controllers. But hey, my opinion.

The Legend Of Zelda Now Available On Wii U Virtual Console

"The original Legend of Zelda, the one that started all of Link's assorted adventures, is available now on the Wii U's Virtual Console.

The game is $4.99 to download, unless you own the Wii Virtual Console version of the game, in which case it will cost you a dollar to upgrade. As is the case with all Wii U Virtual Console games, you can play the game on the television, or exclusively on the GamePad."

Nintendo Announces Wii U Price Drop

Nintendo has announced a price drop for the Deluxe version of the Wii U, which is starting next month. The Deluxe version of the system is a black 32GB console. It will retail for $299.99 starting on September 20.

I figured this would happen sooner or later considering the Wii U hasn't had the best sales. I hope this will bring in more sales, they need it. If I had the money I'd be going out and getting one right now. But sadly, I don't. Oh well, maybe someday!

Nintendo 2DS - Introduction

So this happened. I figured Nintendo would release something like this when the 3DS came out, and I'm happy they did. I'm not too big on the design, but it looks like it can fit in your hand well. I more than likely will get this instead of a 3DS, since it's cheaper. The 3DS is intended for kids 7 and up because of the effect the 3D screen may have on younger eyes. The 2DS is mainly marketed towards younger kids.

The 2DS will be available for $129.99 on October 12th.

The Legend Of Zelda Wind Waker HD Dated For North America

"Nintendo slyly announced earlier today via a press release that The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD will be released in North America on October 4th. The critically acclaimed title is due out on exactly the same day in Europe."

Now I really wish I had a Wii U.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops II's Apocalypse DLC Available Now

"Call of Duty: Black Ops II's final DLC collection of multiplayer maps and the Origins zombie experience is available now on Xbox 360.

You can grab the DLC now for 1200 Microsoft Points (soon to be $14.99). It adds four new multiplayer maps, two of which are remakes of Black Ops maps. the Origins zombie experience takes place in a dieselpunk version of World War I-era France, and features gigantic robots."

The DLC will be coming to PlayStation 3 and PC in a few weeks. Damn you, Microsoft.

Fan Created Game Bringing Portal To DS

"GBATemp forum users Smealum and Lobo are hard at work building an original Portal game, Aperture Science, for the DS starring Rattman.

If you're unfamiliar with Portal lore, Rattman is best known as the man who wrote "The cake is lie," all over the walls of Aperture's laboratories. You can learn all about him here.

The duo have managed to create a working build of the game, which you can check out here. You will need a flash cart if you want to check out the game. The build also includes a level editor."

That's right. A fucking Portal game for the DS.
