they gotta let her be more evil
one year of art progression ft. two very different carries
it’s always been just him and me together
my daughter
i also just watched carrie for the first time. i’m a changed woman.
she’s so beautiful my baby
How being neurodivergent as teenage girl feels like

you know she's going to learn the truth about you.
how much longer now...?
hoop act
things i want to see in a carrie adaptation:
a direct, overt parallel made between carrie and animals
continuing the trend of 2002 and 2013 with carrie having more agency in her beliefs, having her own religious & spiritual beliefs separate from the fanatical delusions of her mother
long red velvet dress. i love the pink dress because of the direct parallel to Archangel Ariel (the patron Angel of nature and animals who punishes people who mistreat animals and harm nature) but the red dress also has powerful symbolism regarding carrie rejecting her mother's oppression as well as embracing body confidence - it also makes the description of "[everything but her eyes] being completely red" from the book more feasible on screen
FAT CARRIE. i genuinely don't mind the first three skinny/slim carrie's because carrie would be bullied regardless for her mannerisms, clothing, shyness, and upbringing - and skinny people suffer from bodyshaming too - but having a slim actress play a canonically fat character for the fourth time would just be straight up fatphobia and erasure of fat people's - especially fat women's - experiences.
the town destruction, including carrie killing chris and billy last, AFTER killing her mother.
a mention of billy's murder of stray dogs. it's another parallel between carrie and animals and makes her killing him with the weapon he used to kill innocent animals so much more satisfying
an ending that isn't completely bleak. either with carrie surviving like in 2002, or at least a hint at her being reincarnated into a loving home, which i personally interpret the book ending to be hinting at.
more avenging angel symbolism from the book, including carrie having powers beyond telekinesis such as telepathy and having prophetic visions predicting her enacting divine retribution against evil-doers.
And then they tore each others clothes off the end.
