Short story: under 7,500

Novelette: between 7,500 and 17,500

Novella: between 17,500 and 40,000

Novel: over 40,000

Fics over 40k are literally a novel written and shared for free.  If you have written a 40k+ fic, you have literally written a novel.

I could imagine rhem beinf like orange but like more of a browny orange, they have little brown swirls going up their legs too

Since it had been abt 50 years ish to get rocky there and back, 46 to get there couple years to get back since time dilation and allat im placing my oc at like what 30 in eridian years still a baby, so when grace and rocky comes back they attend bros class,.fascinated by the idea of humans, they cant touch xenonite not after the incident which crushed their leg so this is the next best thing, they wont tell anyone asides from their parents who know what happened to their leg, which ultimately makes grace a bit curious, they are more interested in human things so half of their interactions go as such (assuming both eridian and human language can be understood both ways)

Grace then ends up explaining and bef9re he has a chance to ask they already off somewhere else, he tried tk get rocky to ask but to no luck apparently saviour of erid doesn't mean much when your solely fascinated by the human man standing outside your dome

Id also like to think they do the equivalent of what we do now and have a "human sona" but like fucks up and gives them like 4 arms
