āMOTHER WHY HASNāT THE DUKE CALLED AGAIN?ā
Someone painted this.
Someone out there sat down and said that they were going to paint this.
Somebody planned this out and then did it.
What a time to be alive.
I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS FUCKING THING FOR MONTHS
I see treeās of green
Red roses too
I like this ad for several reasons.
-The kids are just as amazed at the idea of a dinosaur eating rocks as they are at the sight of an actual living, talking dinosaurĀ
-Rocky Dās behavior mirrors that of the stereotypical drug-dealer character in just about every anti-drug kidsā PSA produced from 1980 to 2003. Instead of a cartoon wolf pushing smack, however, heās a dinosaur offering candy.
-I never had these as a kid, even though Iād have eaten rock-like candy in a second.
Here are some pictures of my hike to the Hoāopiāi falls in Kauaāi. The filming for the amber mine in the first Jurassic Park took place further downstream near the lower falls, which we ran out of time to get to. I was really disappointed as it was our last day in Kauaāi and couldnātĀ come back later, but in retrospect it was still a beautiful hike that made me feel like I was dropped right into the heart of Isla Nublar.
Heyyyy guys Iām back from the trip! It was really incredible. I wanted to provide pictures and Ā updates during the trip, but I ended up being so busy I never had the time. I actually ended up doing a helicopter tour in Kauaāi and got to see the Napali Coast, Hanapepe Valley, and Manawaiopuna Falls! Sadly however I did not get to visit any locations up close due to the cost of getting into the botanical gardens not being worth it for my family ($45 a pop for Allerton where the hatched eggs were found in the first film), not having the time for a tour of Kahili ranch, and not having a four-wheel-drive vehicle to drive to the gate. I nearly Ā had it on the Hoāopiāi Falls where they filmed Gennaroās introductory scene at the the amber mine. We located the upper falls but got turned around trying to find the lower falls down the river where they actually filmed, and ran out of the little time we were running on. Maybe in years to come Iāll have the chance to try again.Ā Nonethless, expect pictures and possibly video soon!
so these producers from jurassic park needed a goat for there new movie coming out in 2015 and they happened to drive past my house and see my goats in the pen outside and now my goat named earl is going to be in a movie and is more famous than ill ever be in my entire life.
Heading to Kauaāi and Hawaiāiās Big Island in a few days with my family! Planning to visit as many Jurassic Park filming sites as possible (fingers crossed for the gate location). Donāt think weāll have the time+money for a helicopter tour to see Manawaiopuna Falls, sadly. Would love to hike to it, but like many JP shooting sites, itās on private land. I do have Limahuli Garden on my hitlist though!
Will try to take pictures to share here, so expect that in coming days.

First concrete words I've heard in a long time. I don't need this movie to be good. I just need it to be fun. That's what defines the first movie more than anything. Cheesy, unrealistic, but fully-realized fun.
On a second note that actually ties this to the theme of this blog: if they do a good job with integrating their old cast, it may inspire JP to bring more of their own older cast into the mix. They're both similarly aged and well-loved blockbusters, and share a main cast member, after all.

After slight detours to different islands in micro sequels where heroes from Jurassic Park experienced more dinosaur terror, Colin Trevorrowās Jurassic World picks up twenty-two years after the original adventure. Ten years prior to filmās opening, Masrani Global stood on the shoulders...
Got the free Lego build from Toys R Us today! It is super cute and the doors swivel open!
One question about Jurassic World from everyone else whose seen it- what did you think of the dinosaur cgi? It feels wrong to say that I rarely felt like I was seeing the puppets (and to be fair- it's their job to make me not know) but do you think the cgi's integration was good (or at least, as good as the previous films)? I can't tell if I just have a knee-jerk reaction to cgi or not.

Just watched Jurassic World!
