Alright! Here we go! Buckle up because these are going to be long!! These are some of my absolute favorite JayTim fics!! Some of these fics are series, like the first one, so even if you don’t particularly like reading separate works, all of the series that I have listed have individual works that are basically one big fanfic! Enjoy my commentary and most importantly, give the authors comments and kudos!!

A loud laugh escapes Tim. “And just what does that entail?”
You talk. I listen. I give my nickel’s worth of advice. If I hear you come back with the same sob story, I get to laugh in your face since I hate repeating myself.”
This work is a civilian au! (bar au!) story in which Tim makes regular trips to a bar in Gotham. Although most people go to bars to drink or watch sports, Tim doesn’t go there for the booze. Instead, Tim goes to the bar every Tuesday night to talk to the charming and surprisingly knowledgable bartender, Jason. From complaining about his brother, Damian’s, next scheme to exploit Tim’s “incompetence”, to simply eating some killer fried pickles, Tim and Jason’s Tuesday nights are filled with romance, family drama, and simply friendship.
If you like a good friends to lovers trope, this fic is for you! My favorite part of this fic is Jason’s character. In this fic, he isn’t just the tough, Red Hood that we all know. chibi_nightowl does a spectacular job at portraying his emotions and mentality!

2. 194/10/1, 19/7/10, 146/13/3. by cruciomysoul
{Bookshop AU} Jason purposely leaves a small leather bound notebook nestled on one of the shelves inside his favourite book store, in the hopes that a delightful patron will pick it up and follow the instructions inside. He doesn’t expect to get much out of it beside the satisfaction of meeting a new friend in the weirdest possible way, but when said patron - Tim, apparently - picks it up and decides to leave Jason a challenge of his own, well, Jason’s never been one to back down from a challenge.
As the summary says, Jason, hoping for something more in life, creates a path of clues for someone to find in order to find his ideal significant other. This fic features Tim and Jason as they get to know each other through clues and notes. As this is a civilian AU, there isn’t as much action as the other fics on this list. This fic features purely romance and character building. However, the author leaves a lot of suspense between chapters which left me eagerly seeking to read just one more chapter. While reading this fic, you’ll get to witness the struggle that these boy have with shyness and the family they have around them helping them out.
3. Courting Disaster by chibi_nightowl
Jason must have felt his heated gaze because a cocky smirk appeared.
“See somethin’ you like?”
“Maybe. I could use some convincing.”
Tim knew what that look meant and arched his back, showing off his own lean frame and pouted. “Jesus Christ. That’s it. I’m outta here. Call if you need me.” The comm chimed slightly as Kon switched it off.The smirk grew as Jason started working on his belt. “Then let’s see what I can do about that.”
This work is an au of what would have happened if Ra’s took Tim in before Bruce had the chance to mentor him. Basically, Tim is the former League of Assassins (LOA) elite mercenary, Wraith. While on a contract, Tim finds himself in a tight situation in which the only way to survive was to collaborate with Jason, aka the Red Hood. After this interaction, Tim and Jason fall in love but have doubts because although they love each other, Wraith and Red Hood have just as much chemistry as Tim and Jason do. Will the two ever find out that their significant others are in the same business and be. able to figure out exactly where they stand with each other?
In essence, if you’ve seen Miraculous Ladybug, you’ll most likely love this fic. However, unlike that show, this fic deals with some heavy topics such as Past Rape and Past Abuse so be aware. To be honest, this fic is so amazingly written in the way that the author always keeps you on your toes, and makes you want to see what happens next. Also, the smut is pretty nice too ;)
4. Of The Benuvolent Birds Hoopoets Twitter Tails For by EleanorC
Tim isn’t sure how long he’s standing in front of the grave before he finally finds the words to say.
“Hey Jason,” he starts, voice barely above a whisper, “I don’t know if you remember me, I’m Tim. We met at a couple of those charity functions you hate so much.”
Thirteen year old Tim swears he only meant to go to Jason’s grave to talk to him that first time. He finds himself coming back time after time. For a long time, it feels like the reasons he does only get sadder, until they don’t.
Before Jason died, Tim felt like he was just another boy that Jason knew at school; one of the many faces forgotten in Jason’s daily life. Tim begins to visit Jason’s grave because he feels like this dead boy is the only one who he can confide in; after all, he can’t count on Batman. However, Tim finds new family through this ambition to live like Jason wanted him to.
This author beautifully paints an image of Tim and Jason’s relationship from the past to the present through heartfelt flashbacks and Tim’s graveyard talks.
5. Honeymoon by cinnamon_skull
Tim and Jason go undercover as a just-married couple celebrating their honeymoon in order to catch a high-profile drug lord. Hand-holding, kissing, secret rendezvous and bed sharing ahead.
This fic really gives you the satisfaction of knowing that Tim and Jason have a lot of chemistry. To be honest, this fic is pretty funny too. Although it’s one chapter long, the author broke the fic up into sections, so it seems like there are "chapters.” If you like this trope, this is one of the best fics in it so you’ll definitely enjoy it!
6. Didn’t Love You Until I Did by Myoneloveismusic
For years, Gotham’s famous dating show has been using its platform to disguise a human trafficking operation. One Bruce catches wind of what’s going on he sends Tim and Jason on the show: Tim as the bachelor and Jason as the contestant, in the hopes of getting the evidence they need to shut the operation down. Tim and Jason think it won’t be a big deal to act for the cameras and it’s not, until feelings start coming into the mix and it stops being pretend.
So basically, as the summary says, Tim is on the Bachelor and Jason is a contestant. This fic basically features Tim and Jason as they go on the show and realize that they actually do feel something for each other.
7. Right Time, Right Place by gothamnight
“Why did you take a picture of me?”
Tim gulped. “I— I wanted to just take a picture of the Batmobile,” he said quietly.
In which little Tim goes out to take pictures of Batman and runs into a boy trying to steal the Batmobile’s tires. It leads to a friendship neither of them expected.
In this fic, Tim and Jason meet each other early on and become inseparable. Basically, this fic includes kids being kids and slowly realizing that their friendship is a little more than most.
This is your classic childhood friends to lovers trope, however it is so much more. This author shows the boys as they grow up from kids to teens. They made the boys so cute and leave you longing for more pre-Joker Jason.
