A soft laugh falls from between her lips, head tilting slightly to the side, though expression is gentle, displaying admiration. “It doesn’t sound all that ridiculous.” Hand reaches up to push dark locks behind her ear, “I think it’s sweet. After all — like you said, you are their mother. You raised them.”
He smiles softly, and chuckles gently, kindly, like a morning songbird. “I’m very glad you think so. Some think it infringes on my, er, status as a man, but really, I find that very silly. Then again, my brother says I fail to see the logic of the masses on a very large scale.
