Home Renovation Trends 2020 - What's In and What's out
As the New Year approaches, so does time for new trends to introduce to your house. Here are some very creative and exciting new home renovation trends that are going to be in the picture the following year!
1- Knocking Down The Kitchen Wall
The only reason why there is so much focus on having a wall separating your kitchen from the living room is because of the heat and smells. Cooking is more like a hobby these days, something that people love to do. So open up space in your home or apartment by knocking down the partition wall!
2- Cooking Outside
In more temperate areas around the USA, many homeowners have taken it upon themselves to take their kitchen out to the patio! This is a growing trend to be observed and is really not just a pizza oven and a fire pit, but the refrigerators and storage spaces as well!
3- No More Bathtubs!
As much as it is fun to come home on a cold day and jump into the hot bathtub, the trend of it seems to be on the way out. The classic old-school American style is more likely being replaced by modern walk-in showers having glass partitions.
4- Going Light-Colored
Back in the day, the trends would be to get a dark hardwood floor or some exotic slabs to decorate the floor of your house. But the trend that is on the rise days across America is going for an ambient and light-colored floor, mostly stone, but the porcelain tiles are a marvelous addition as well.
5- Going Green
Going green might not only by a call for the trend but actually makes decent sense economically. By adding a few Eco-friendly additions to your houses like the solar panels or geothermal pumps, you are not only looking at lower bills but also nearly a tax break!
