Chester FC Cheif Exec Pledges Support to The Jets
Chester FC CEO Pat Cluskey said “ The achievement of City Fans United in establishing a successful football club has been the inspiration for the new basketball club and we’re pleased to be asked to offer advice and support in the campaign to Save the Jets. I attended the recent victory over Mersey Tigers and witnessed the passion of the Jets volunteers and supporters, a number of whom I recognised as CFU members.
This partnership will also allow the football club to increase its presence in schools throughout Cheshire West and Chester with jointly branded educational programmes that could include assemblies focusing on healthy lifestyles, drug awareness, numeracy & literacy and other such topics which the power of sport has the ability to influence. With the ability to offer dual match tickets for those who attend these assemblies plus special promotions for CFU members who wish to experience basketball at the elite level in the UK it promises to be an exciting venture and one that epitomises the spirit of Chester FC and its ethos of ‘Our City, Our Community, Our Club’.
