He gave her a once-over when she opened the door, smiling softly. This wasn’t a date, as far as he was concerned; just two people trying to get to know each other on a night that might end up with one or both of them in a state of little to no inhibitions, clothes on the floor, sweaty bodies on the bed. And okay, it kind of sounds like a date, but really, Bones just wants to get drunk tonight and have a warm body against his to grind with.

"You look nice," he complimented her. "But no. No, I think I’ll just, um… stay here. If you don’t mind. I can wait, if you still have to do some… you know. Girly stuff." He nodded, hooking his thumbs into the front pockets of his jeans. "Or, if you’re ready to go, we can go now. I don’t know. Lady’s choice." He shrugged.

She grinned, cheeks flushing slightly, "You... think so? I mean, I guess for just getting out of the hospital I do, but... yeah. I'll try not to ramble." It was easy to get her flustered, especially in person. And even though she really didn't care if it was a date or not, because really who would want to go out with her, she was excited. Very excited. If only to forget things for a night. That's what made this worth while. "We can go now." Sawyer grabbed her clutch, before locking the door. Smiling, Sawyer asked, "So, Bones, where are we going?" She was ready to show off her hip moves (thank you jazz) and maybe show him up on the dance floor.
