writeblr re-introduction!!

well hello hello again! it’s been quite a while, writeblr! but I’ve returned to tumblr again after a sizeable break and i’m back and better than ever! :)

first things first, hi! i used to go by ellie as @elliewritesstories but now my name’s sawyer! i’m 20, attend university for english, and I’m a sci-fi/fantasy writer. my current project, trace elements, has been in the works for nearly two years now. it’s something I’m super passionate about so I’ll be sure to make a re-introduction on it soon (a lot has changed ok dhsjsjs)

Introduction!

Hi everyone! Since I have recently started using tumblr as a means to share my writing and be a part of this community, I should probably introduce myself lol. My name is Sarah (as I think most of you know at this point) and I’ve been writing for fun for quite a while now. I’m in university as a music major but still enjoy art, writing, and reading. 

My Writing!

I am currently writing a fantasy series, but have written mysteries and sci-fi in the past. I’ve dabbled in poetry as well (granted, it is quite bad lol, but I enjoyed it). My current project is called The Fall and has proved to be a massive worldbuilding project. This project has been “in development” for about 4 years now and I am currently in the outlining process. I am hoping that being on here will help me stay determined with writing it! I still am planning to do a project intro as well so people can actually know what it is. It goes without saying, but I am super excited about this series!! I must admit, I am very anxious about sharing my work; I am terrified that I’ll get no interest or that this is how I’ll find out that this project is a bad idea. But yeehaw, I am attempting to ignore my anxiety and put myself out there!!! 

I am also working on some music projects (that I won’t really talk about on here) as well as a prequel to The Fall. I intend to focus mostly on this project because I truly want to see it through. But if you are curious about any of these as well, feel free to ask about them! I haven’t gotten a ton of writing done recently because of school, but I hope to have some scenes and chapters posted here throughout the summer!

 This is currently my only account of tumblr but I may create a blog entirely dedicated to writing. I reblog a lot of general writing stuff too so this is slowly turning into just a straight up writing blog (and I’m ok with that). That’s about it for me lol. Please send asks or tag me in things! I’m excited to meet more writers here as well!
