DAY 30: Fai D. Flourite (Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles)

The only reason Cardcaptor sakura or xxxHolic aren't on this list is because I've got my CLAMP goat right here. MR YAOI HIMSELF FAIIIIIII.

I haven't reread this series in a while but every time I recall something I'm like "wow they were really fruity" Kurofai were seriously in the early 2000's yaoi trenches. Also, obligatory shout out for CHARACTER THAT CONSTANTLY SMILES AND LIES WHILE BURYING ALL THE UGLINESS INSIDE AND MAKING TERRIBLE DECISIONS THAT WILL RUIN THEIR LIVES, striking again. Where would I be without these self-destructive bastards, it's a very formative archetype for me.

I didn't watch the anime (I heard they tried so hard to dodge the gay thoughts) but the manga was CRAZY. absolutely nuclear unit of a throw-together family. I cant believe him and Kurogane fucked on screen this first official art drives me crazy crazy insane

Wanted to practice drawing something with atmosphere, not really what i was going for (ended up working pretty sloppily, just trying to get the colours right) but it ended up cute enough ._. Gonna try to look up references next time, but yeah enjoy some pining teachers! ✨
