It's going to be done with Bernat Maker Home Dec in black with the sun being yellow. It's going to be a beach blanket. I have never done this before, but here we go!
Size G hook and weight 4 yarn, I used Bernat Handicrafter in the colour Neptune Ombre.
I recommend marking the last stitch of each round with a stitch marker so it's easier to see where your rounds end, but it's not necessary.
It's important to note that I have a very tight tension. If you crochet a bit looser you may want to adjust for that, but if you don't mind the poop bag holder to be a little bigger then it should be fine. Also make sure whatever poop bags you buy fit as you go. This fits what I had on hand, but I'm pretty sure they all tend to be pretty much the same.
6sc into magic ring (6 st)
Inc x6 (12 st)
Sc, Inc x6 (18st)
Sc, sc, inc x6 (24st)
Sc around for 4 rounds
Instead of crocheting around from here, ch1, turn, SC in each st until the end, repeat for 8 rows
Sc around, closing the slit we created for the poop bags to come out
Sc around for 4 rows
Sc halfway around, to the back side of the poop bag with the slit at the front, slip st into the next st, ch2, dc into same st, ch 1, skip a stitch *dc, ch 1, skip a stitch* repeat between ** around until you're back to the first dc and slip st into it
Ch1, sc into each dc and chain space around, slip st into first sc, fasten off
Make a chain as long as you'd like your drawstring to be, slip st back down the chain, fasten off, weave your drawstring through the chain spaces in the top of the bag and you're done!
I put a caribeaner clip on mine to attach to the leash or a belt loop.
