I know this might sound delusional (it is 100% delulu). But I think JJ and Plushtrap could be maybe tiny itty bitsy possibly canon. Hear me out (‘◉⌓◉’)
Lore-wise - This ship can be canon in the timeline of Fredbears family diner, because Plushtrap existed during this time and JJ possibly maybe tiny itty bitsy possible could have ties to the diner, she is in FNAF 2 where the diner was first mentioned, purple, her being present in games where the actual original Fredbear is present (FNAF world, UCN), not including N. Fredbear and the fnaf4 8-bit because N.Fredbear is just the nightmare ver. And the fnaf4 8-bit only shows Fredbear as a suit and not an actual character. Anyways, you know how Plushtrap is always mocked as a baby ver. of Springtrap and Springtrap=William Afton. So what JJ could also be a young ver. Of Ballora who is representation of Ms. Afton. How? Check the color palette, (blue,purple,pink,yellow) which is also present in FNAF SB nanny who also representation of Ms. Afton. They're all humanoid bots too. I think that Plushtrap and JJ could represent the afton couple(a parallel or the opposite of them), why? Because FNAF games dont give out lore directly, you have to dig deep or analyze characters. Therefore JJ and Plushtrap could be a representative of the couple in Fredbears game.
Gameplay-wise - You know when it comes to characters in FNAF, I noticed that every small bot animatronic is working for a bigger bot. BB:Foxy, Bidybab:Baby, Cupcake:Chica, so on. So I propose that instead of a small bot helping out the big bots, we have two small bots working together (ﾉ*0*)ﾉ. So let's say JJ's mechanic is to choose to assist any bot and she chooses Plushtrap most of the time. JJ will stalk the player and learning their movements, then communicating it to Plushtrap, and then Plushtrap will make a plan on how to kill the player. (Ex. JJ learns the player hides a lot, she signals that to Plushtrap, Plushtrap would signal back by saying he will ambush the player and Jj will block the nearby doors) Though this would have AI be applied since it's kind of complicated. Nevertheless, in gameover screens, I think it would be cool to have not just the killer but also the assist. (Game over: Killed by Plushtrap, Assist by JJ) So that we can both have gameover voicelines for passive and aggressive bots. (I thought of this since UCN). So their voice lines would have them glazing eachother, mocking the player, or something menacing. (Ex. JJ: "Impressive, Mon leveret". Plushtrap: "Oh, I know I am~"). I want gamers to hate them.
Marketing-wise - Scott or Steelwool could post character posters (like the og ones where you brighten it up), for their poster, both of them are together in a creepy/cute vibe to it. I think they will market these two as a cute silly couple, even make a love song as a joke. And when the game comes out, people will realize that these two are a villain couple.
I know this is very much delulu from me, but I just think we need more evil villain couples (｡•́︿•̀｡) in media. Especially a healthy one.
