YES!!! Official depictions of dragons holding things with their wings! I don’t think it was ever described in the books, but I always headcanoned them carrying things with their wing fingers while walking, so they don’t have to hobble around on three legs when they have perfectly functional gripping digits on their wings. Thank you Jake Parker!

Took a bit of a break, lots of IRL stuff lately. Here's a creature design idea I had for a bug-fellow that just wants to watch you fall asleep at night... Surprisingly enough, staying calm and ignoring them is known to work best at not getting yourself in trouble.

Mudwing village

Mudwing village!!

Love mudwings and wish there were more info on them. Sadly there isn't but that does mean I get to make my own 😎

Specifically I like to imagine that mudwings in more swampy areas connect homes and shops with bridges and logs. Building mud homes around trees. Similar to barn swallows nests and how they use mud to make em. More wealthy/powerful mudwings will build large structures that span across two trees or more.

Homes are decorated with gardens, lanterns, art, etc. Many mudwing families will mark their home with a symbol or decor piece that defines it as theirs. Such as a sign with a bird talon or a fish carved into the door way. Makes it easy when giving directions to "Go past the salmon and turn at the pinecone. If you see a gator you've gone too far"

Bodies of water and mud are like mudwing highways connecting everything. Its probably the easiest kingdom to travel in without flying. Just hop in and chill down the river All in all I hope to one day see more offical mudwing kingdom art. I wanna see the pretty swamps and marshes
