Also, how old do you think the Shingan guys are?
Okay so first, let me tell you my personal HC’s and afterwards I’ll list how old I think they are based on my ‘research’.Personal HC’s: I always liked to think that Aion was surprisingly young for his age. It’s probably because he’s the tallest one. I don’t know. I thought he was 18 or something, making him the youngest Shingancrimsonz member. The second-in youngest would be Crow, being 19. Yaiba should be somewhere in his early 20′s, maybe 21-22? And Rom… Well he’s obviously the oldest one. Right? So I’d say 25, maybe a lil’ older.
Based on some clues in the franchise: The creators described Shingancrimsonz once as ‘teenage boys’ which sort of confused me. If we take in consideration that everyone has a different age, that would create an agegap of at least 4 years between the youngest and the oldest member. And if they’re teenage boys, that’d mean the youngest one is 15. However, I really can’t imagine one of them being that young. The minimum age I’d guess would be 16 (which is still very young, but oh well, anime wouldn’t be anime if they didn’t have ‘age traps’). The only character that could be this young is Crow, as he’s the only one that doesn’t live on his own yet. Yes. It is possible to live on your own before the age of 18 and something that happens in anime a lot. But it’s still hard to. So if we’d say that everyone that lives on their own is 18+, that’d mean that they’re between 18 and 19. Which is rather weird, considering that Rom acts ‘way’ older than the other ones. I’d be surprised if there would be an agegap this small between them.
But there’s one thing in the franchise that implies everyone is older than 18 or even 20 and that’s the fact that they drink and (in-game) smoke. In Japan, the legal age to do so was recently lowered from 20 to 18, however the game existed before the law came to be. If MIDI-city and Japan have similar laws, that’d mean that all of them are at least 20. I can’t say for sure that MIDI-city and Japan have the same legal age, but, characters such as Plasmagica!! who were confirmed as underage, have never been seen consuming alcohol, let alone smoking. But there’s a 3rd thing that points out to the direction of being older than 20 and that’s the fact that they have tattoo’s. According to some articles I looked up, the law is against a minor getting tattooed.So, let’s say it like this: - They have tattoo’s, live on their own, drink and smoke -> Hints at them being 18+- The creators called them once ‘teenage boys’ -> Hints at them being 18-
But okay, time for individual ages, let’s start off with Yaiba: As I mentioned, I thought he’d be somewhere in his early twenties. In the game, he’s seen smoking and he has a tattoo. In the line manga, we’ve seen that he has a job. This makes me believe that he’s at least 20. As I think he’s older than Crow and Aion, but younger than Rom, I estimate Yaiba’s age to be 22
Rom is defenitly the oldest and I think there’s a bigger age-gap between him and the other members. He has a job and used to be in another band. Considering that Trichronika came to exist and grow in the meantime, means that they disbanded at least 1 year ago. He’s also seen as ‘the adult’ of the group. Since I guessed Yaiba to be 22, I think Rom is at least 25
As I said I always hc’d Aion as the youngest member. However, that seems kinda impossible, considering that he lives on his own, drinks and has a tattoo. However I believe his age to be very close to Crow his. I think he’s 20, the youngest possible if we follow the ‘law logic’, but that’d give us trouble for Crow. If every Shingancrimson guy has another age, that’d mean Crow is 19 and isn’t allowed to drink yet. So we could also make Aion one year older. However, I don’t feel like agreeing with this HC, and I’ll explain why.
Crow is underage. I’m pretty sure of that. Okay, he drinks along with the other band members, but he’s the only one that has no tattoo, doesn’t live on his own, talks the most about his parents (as in: he’s still attached to them) and has notably the least revealing outfit. Considering this, that means he could be 15, but it’s as likely he’s 19. Honestly I don’t think he’s 15, as I mentioned before, the Plasmagica girls don’t drink, and some of them are already 15. And following what I said when talking about Aion, I think that he and Crow are almost the same age. So that’d make Crow 19 years old
Long things short, these are their ages (oldest to youngest): - Crow (19) - Aion (20) - Yaiba (22) - Rom (25)

So. We got a flashback. This puts Aion’s age in a new daylight and makes me more confused than ever. As we know, Peipain and Hundrekko have been around Ailane for a while, yet they got their after Aion was kicked out. Aion himself looked pretty old when it happened, and I doubt he could leave the house in his early teens. However, it seemed like those happenings happened pretty long ago, as Aileen was very young back then and as I mentioned earlier, Peipain and Hundrekko weren’t around yet. Then again, Ailane looks pretty young herself and she managed to leave the house too. So... I just don’t know it anymore... Do you guys have any guesses on Aion and Ailane their ages?
