A nervousness tingled in her stomach, bringing up the memories of last summer; she felt exactly the same as during MNT’s auditions. Even if this time she didn’t have to sing, she had to perform anyway. It sounded so simple; she had to present a self-made dish at AKB’s café and it probably would be just as effortless if it wasn’t Chiyo. Saying that she didn’t cook well would be an exaggeration; the girl was bad, so bad that her mother forbad her from using an oven, not like she would ever want to make a good use of it, either. She had no choice, though, it wasn’t for her but for the band and she was thankful that her parent understood it, willing to help the young idol with the task.
But now she was alone… no, not exactly alone, there was a crowd of people as well as staff members but she couldn’t help but feel a bit lonely, her stress only intensifying the sensation. She stood composed, though, it wasn’t her character to express emotion after all. “Hello earthlings.” Her dull voice pealed out the room, her absent-like glance slipping on attendees faces, their cheering making her shoulders relax slightly. “It’s right time to start, isn’t it? Nyan nyan nyan nyan nihao nyan I’m going to ruin your heart, a cyborg sent from hell - Chiyotan or Morie Chiyo desu, yoroshiku onegai shimasu.” Her frame bent in bold bow before she put her hand on the silver cover. “Ta-dah, a milo bread buns filled with homemade milo custard cream at your service.” The female did her best to modulate her voice properly, showing almost no excitement.
“As you know, we cyborgs just love bread and chocolate. There’s nothing better than mixing your two favorite things isn’t it? According to my data, Milo is a chocolate malt drink popular in Southeast-Asia that’s known as very nutritious. So please, give it a try!”
