Kazuko was still the type to get nervous, even after having been in MNT48 as long as she has been, and even now as she stood backstage waiting with the others she couldnât help but feel nervous. She was pacing back and forth, going over her lines over and over again as they all waited, and she couldnât seem to stand still. She was worried that she would do something to mess up, worried that she would forget her lines or what she was supposed to do, even though they had rehearsed this long enough for her to actually get everything memorized.
She thought back to when they had all been in the practice room going over everything, learning what they were to do during the recording, and she couldnât help but think about how many times she had mess up at the time. Comedy wasnât something she had done before, mostly used to singing and dancing rather than something like this, so she wasnât too confident in herself even though she already had it all down perfectly. Even as she ran everything through her head over and over again it seemed perfect, but she couldnât help but think that eventually something might go wrong, that she would ruin everything that they had worked hard on and ruin things for the other members.
Kazuko nervously bit her bottom lip as she finally stopped in place, closing her eyes and taking a few deep breaths to calm her nerves a little. âYou can do this Kazuko!â She cheered herself on in a hushed tone as she finally opened her eyes, looking more determined than ever at that moment to actually do her best no matter what. She definitely would try her hardest to make this perfect and she would do her best to make sure that she didnât mess a single thing up.

It hadnât been long since Kazuko had finished watching âThe Lost Tombâ and even fallen for Yang Yang, or just his character, and it hadnât been long since she started filling her room with posters and pictures of him from the drama either. She blamed her friend for her new âcrushâ but she also blamed herself for even giving in and watching the drama.
Today she planned on just hanging out with her friends and taking some time to relax, even if it was just for a little bit. She was slightly exhausted from both school and her schedule for MNT48 and she really needed some time to just hang out with friends and relax a little.
They were all sitting at a table in a familiar place that Kazuko had been to quite a lot, the Hello Kitty cafe that she once worked at before she got too busy to actually work, and were all laughing and talking about random things, catching up with each other since they only really got to see each other at school these days.
Kazuko was busy listening to one of her friends going on and on about some boy she was talking to and listening to the other female talk about how she had met the boy and even how he had asked her out on a date. Of course Kazuko was happy for her friend, she wanted nothing more than her friends to be happy, though she did feel slightly jealous of the female. Yeah she was too busy to be thinking about anything other than school and MNT48 but she did secretly wish she also had a boyfriend. She wanted to do all the âcoupleâ things that couples did like going on dates and even holding hands. She just wanted to experience it, even if she would end up hurt in the end for some reason.
It was then, at the moment when she was thinking about how nice it would to date someone, that something (more like someone) caught her attention. A male who looked like he was slightly taller than Kazuko walked into the cafe and made his way over to a table where a few other boys were sitting. Kazuko couldnât help but watch the male the whole time, even if it did seem creepy, and she didnât really realize that she had been staring at the male until one of her friends waved their hand in front of her face trying to get her attention. âHelloo~ Kazuko~ What are you staring-â Her friend stopped mid-sentence as she followed Kazukoâs gaze and smiled, the other females at the table doing the same. âGirls, I think Kazuko has fallen in love~â Her friend said in a half teasing and half serious tone. That made Kazuko quickly look away from the male and look at her friend. âW-What?! N-No I havenât!â She said, trying her best to lie, though the way she was blushing gave her away and her friends could only laugh at her reaction.
She puffed her cheeks and crossed her arms, her face still red from embarrassment as she looked down at the table in front of her. âAwe, come on~ Donât be mad, I was only kid-... Oh! Heâs looking over here!â Her friend said the last bit only loud enough for Kazuko and the other girls to hear. Kazuko didnât mean to look at the male again, though she couldnât help herself as she slowly glanced up to look at the male, just to see if it was true or if her friend was messing around again.
Kazuko regretted looking up when she made eye contact with the male, freezing in place as she did so. She wondered if her face was becoming more red than it already was. Thankfully her friend who was sitting across the table quickly moved a little so that she could block Kazukoâs view of the male, causing Kazuko to finally breath, not really realizing that she had not only been frozen in place but also holding her breath as well. âI-I wasnât staring at him right?~ Please tell me that he didnât see me...â She said, more like whispered, as she buried her face into the palms of her hands. She felt a gentle pat on her back. âSorry, but as your friends we canât lie to you. You were staring at him and he did see you.â One of her friends said with a soft sigh as she shook her head. âHeâs not looking anymore though so maybe this could be our chance to leave before you get embarrassed again and possibly do something stupid.â Another friend spoke as she stood up. Kazuko and her other friends stood up as well and she quickly made her way out of the cafe, not daring to look at the male as she walked out the front door and let out a heavy sigh, placing her hand on her chest when she knew she was clear.
What was this feeling? Had she really fallen for him? A complete stranger?
She nervously bit on her bottom lip as she stood there trying to calm herself, her friends finally making it outside. âL-Letâs go somewhere else..â She said, not even giving the other females a chance to speak before she quickly started walking down the street. She had to get away from there as soon as possible. She had to clear her thoughts and figure out what had just happened to her. Kazuko thought about how she had felt when she had watched the drama her friend had gotten her into a few weeks ago and thought about how she had âfallenâ for the handsome actor, but this was different from that. A lot different. She was still confused about her own feelings. Maybe, just maybe, she wouldnât run into the male again....right? âMaybe...â She thought to herself as her and her friends turned the corner and headed towards their next destination.
Kazuko didnât really watch much TV, especially when it came to watching foreign shows, though when her friend had suggested for her to watch some drama called âThe Lost Tombâ while going on and on about how hot one of the guys were she decided to give it a shot. It wasnât like her and her friend had the same taste in guys, besides Kazukoâs ideal type of guy usually was different than her friendâs type. Her friend loved mysterious guys who no one could figure out but Kazuko liked guys who were fun to be around, liked her for who she was, and even someone who could make her laugh and smile.
Though she was now regretting even starting the drama series as she laid in bed, her laptop resting on her lap as she stared wide-eyed at the screen in front of her. Her eyes were widened and her mouth was hanging wide open, the popcorn she had just put into her mouth now all over her chest and stomach. Her friend was right, this guy was hot. She almost felt like he would end up becoming her ideal type.
A few episodes later and Kazuko was now sitting straight up, her legs crossed and her laptop now lying on her bed as she hugged her hello kitty pillow and smiled wide when the male appeared on the screen. She couldnât help but squeal a little into her pillow as she watched a scene were he suddenly appeared out of nowhere without a shirt on, his perfect abs being the first thing that she looked at before she finally noticed the tattoo that he had. Yep, she was now in love with an actor, well more like a character in a drama, who she used to be so against before.
She knew that watching this drama wasnât good for her, especially since it was starting to get late and she still had a busy day ahead of her tomorrow. So when the current episode ended she quickly shut her laptop off before she could watch the next episode and quickly laid back down in bed, curling up on her side as she hugged her pillow, the same smile she had while watching her new âcrushâ on screen as she closed her eyes.
Kazuko was going to make it her new life goal to marry him, or at least someone like him. Someone tall, handsome and mysterious. She now had a new ideal type and it was all thanks to her friend. The next step she had to take was to find some time and search for posters of this foreign actor to hang up in her room. She would stop at nothing to make this happen even if it meant having to quit school and get a part-time job in order to pay for them.
So, another plot call, but this time for Kazuko. â>.> She needs some new plots and I just finished adding some new plots to her profile as well... Yeah, thatâs about it. /rolls away again/
She was still upset about what she had done, still questioning whether or not she made the right choice with quitting her job at the cafe. Yeah she really loved working there, though she was just too busy with other things now like MNT48. She felt like she had no choice but to leave and it upset her. Kazuko realized that she had to choose between her dream and her job and thatâs what she did, she chose the one she loved a little more than the other. Of course he friend had been a little upset with her for quitting but thankfully the other female had realized as well that Kazuko was only doing what was best for herself. Though, she still felt bad towards her friend and was still beating herself up over it.
She didnât really want to go bother any of the other members about this problem which was why she hadnât mentioned it to anyone, not even her family, so when Suzuran had invited her over to the otherâs place for a sleepover she just figured that it was because the other female wanted to spend some time with her. She had decided to just wear her pajamas over to Suzuranâs, wearing her usual Hello Kitty ones that she practically wore all the time when she was at home, and ignored any strange looks that she had received as she made her way to the otherâs place with her Hello Kitty backpack.
She sighed softly, shaking the negative thoughts out of her head before she finally knocked on the door. She waited until the door opened and smiled, more of a forced smile than a real one, when she saw Suzuran. She shook her head in response before she finally entered the otherâs place. âThankfully I didnât.â She said, laughing a little. âI actually thought that I would have to call you and tell you I got lost or something but Iâm glad I found you without any problems.â She spoke as she looked at the other.
Suzuran grinned. âThatâs a relief then.â She then pointed to her pajama. âThis is too cute! You got it at your job?â Little did she know that without meaning to, she had pointed at the issue right from the beginning.Â
âGive me your things! Iâll help you!â She took the backpack without letting the other girl arguing with her. She took it to the living room where she had set up everything and came back to take the coat of the other girl and put it away. âWelcome to my house by the way.â She took the girlâs hand and dragged her to the living room. âAnd this is our paradise for the night.â It was a humble set, but she hoped it would be enough to make Kazuko spend a great night. âI wasnât sure what you preferred in terms of movies so I got action, comedy and romance. Iâm not too good with horror, sadly. What we watch and do is up to you now!â She was probably talking too much, but it came from a good intention
Kazuko smiled and nodded in response, though when Suzuran mentioned âwork' her smile wavered and she looked down, slowly shaking her head. âN-No.... my brother bought them for me." She said, her tone low as she spoke. She didn't blame the other though for mentioning it because no one besides her family and her friend knew about her quitting her job.
She didn't bother looking up until Suzuran spoke again, smiling a little. âThank you." She laughing a little when the other female dragged her into the living room, looking at the setup that Suzuran and done for their sleep over and smiling a little more at the sight. It looked nice and seemed like it was going to be fun. It had need a while since she had, had a sleep over so she was glad that the other had invited her over for one. âI don't mind at all. I don't really do well with horror movies either. My brother and parents both love them though so at times I have no choice but to watch them. Though when I do I just end up sleeping in my brother's room because I'm too scared to sleep alone." She said, laughing at herself. It was true that she couldn't watch horror films. She would get too scared if she did and would swear that she could hear and see things that weren't even there. Maybe it made her seem like a big baby, but she didn't care. She was just a big scaredy cat.
