Crazy Nami (because she once bit herself during feeding) As you can see she also kept rubbing her head on the top of her tub… I moved her to a bigger one (where she didn’t want to eat at first) and she thankfully stopped.

Nope. Just a normal butter :) She might look more silvery than she is because of the lighting, too!

He is finally eating on a regular schedule and is gaining weight. Still doesn’t really like me, but it’s getting better ;) He’s a picky eater, though. His rats need to have the right temperature for him to eat… Don’t have to do that for any of my other snakes! I love him anyways!

Loki - Python curtus ‘Orange head’

Congrats on getting him to switch to f/t! Still stuck with live over here. Loki is so light and creamy, I love it. Is he getting progressively darker or lighter?

I think his colors depend on his mood, haha. Nah, uhm … I feel like he’s been getting a bit darker with his last shed, but I could be wrong. I’ve seen other P.curtus that were really light as babies and then turned really dark with age. Although I think the orange heads stay lighter than the pure black ones. There are also people who think that he’s a breitensteini, but he definitely isn’t. 

Can’t wait to see how he turns out! And I wish you luck for changing over to f/t too! (I really don’t like feeding live for so many reasons…first and foremost because I always feel so sorry for the mouse/rat!)

I don’t have any good recent pictures of my orange head, but he definitely develops more melanin with every shed. But he’s many, many times darker than Loki. I think he’ll be about as dark as they get when he’s full grown. He stopped looking like a breit after his first shed because he’s so dark. Wasn’t sure if the lighter phase ones also darkened. It’ll be interesting to see where Loki winds up, to me, since he’s on the other end of the spectrum from Riese. @fattynoodles‘s girl Demeter is right in the middle, maybe leaning towards light.

Since Loki has been eating so poorly he has only shed once since December. I think he is going into shed again, though. So we will see if he get’s darker or lighter ;)

Yeah I am still alive! 

I know I haven’t been around for a while and I am afraid it will stay like that a little longer.

I don’t feel like doing anything since I am pregnant (and it gets worse with every passing week!) It’s not like I am feeling bad or anything, I am just lazy as fuck :D 

Only 10 more weeks to go, though and I hope that my motivation will return once the little one is born ;) 

All my snakes and Bob are doing well (though the poor things are still waiting for their enclosures to be updated!) I will start updating their enclosures in June/July, hopefully. Unless I won’t have any time because of the baby ;) I think it should work out, though. 

Maybe some remember that I talked about getting another corn snake... I think I won’t. The dude keeps telling me almost daily that “Tomorrow I will clean the enclosure and bring the snake over” ... so yeah, I don’t think he’s ever going to do it. I just hope the animal is alright :/

BUT! Once the beeps are all updated I will definitely get 1-2 new snakes :) No matter what species or anything, just that I want some more noodles, haha.

She’s done! And it’s absolutely insane how much I love this snake. She’s so cute and patient when I handle her (although she hates it when I pull her out of her enclosure, haha) 

She also has grown a lot! By now she’s 150 cm’s long and weights about 1,6 kg’s ... That would be 4′9′’ and 3,5 lbs

Look at those colors, tho! You can’t see it in the pictures but her snoot is a very light pinkish tone and it’s so cool! Can’t wait to see how she turns out and seeing her colors like this always makes me want to pair her up with a nice male in the future, but I also don’t want to produce more mix-boas... Oh dear.

Its so hard to take photos of Kobe because he’s constantly moving. My camera cant capture him unless I take the photos in very bright sunlight (which I’m sure he hates).
