City Dragon

I had like three mental breakdowns trying to get this right, and I still failed, unfortunately. Especially the colour scheme was a horror, so the whole drawing turned out a bit messier than the other two, since the week is ending. Alas, I gotta learn to live with it. Still got 24 chances to make up for it!

Atlantic Dragon for the A-Week of @struthless69 's 6-month drawing challenge Alphabet Superset

In this challenge you're supposed to create an artwork starting with a different letter of the Alphabet each week to a topic of our choosing. Mine was Dragons, which means 27 weeks of pure dragon content! With this come 5 Restriction, that are supposed to bring out our creativity. Mine were:

1. No lineart

2. No clams - create at least 10 designs before setteling on one

3. No blending (to save time and bot get lost in the details, hasn't worked so far, though)

4. A different Color Palette each week

5. Prompts are choosen from song-titels (there are otherwise way to many words in the english language)

Especially the no blending rule pushed me, since I had to create forms and volumes using diff colors and shapes, and I am hopeful that it'll grow my understanding of art with due time.

I wouldn't call the painting done, I could have spend 20 more hours on this (and the little guy certainly deserves this), but the next week is about to start, so it'll do as it is
