By going into the event space you consent to being microdosed with fear toxin. It's enough to get your anxiety going by not enough for hallucinations. It puts you into a fear state.
NOBODY has immunity to this toxin except for workers and security. Not Bats, Birds, Rogues, OCs ect.
Secondly. Do not start fights at this event. If it's 'what my character would do' maybe they should stay home. If your fear response is fight you should not be fighting scare actors or your friends.
Thirdly. This is a self guided adventure but feel free to rp and reblog around it and enjoy.
Fourthly. Do not start major plot for myself or yourselves in this event this is supposed to just be a night of fun.
Where the old carnival once stood looms maybe the most sinister building of all.....
A prison in its own right.
Lightening strikes near by illuminating the nearly completed architectural marvel.
Soon. It would be ready to open it's jaws to the public of Gotham. They would learn fear once again.

Scarecrow had worked hard on building, renovating, testing, assembling, training, coaching, the BEST HALLOWEEN EVENT he’s ever made so far. Bigger and Better than before! The building beyond the edges of town was a dark building with towering trees framing it and ivy eating into the stone and wood sidings. (Plants courtesy of Ivy which also provide structural integrity to the building.) The ground around the whole offering was covered in a thick fog. Occasional lights and mechanic fake arms, hands, and bugs crawling around in it’s depths ready to rear up and scare any movement they might detect with a heat signature.
Behind the building 2 structures towered a Ferris Wheel with swirling projections of skulls, bats, and pumpkins on it that slowly rotated with passengers.
And a wooden Roller Coasters track which wound up and above the tall warehouse. On it haybale inspired carts zoomed by. Holding 2 passengers max. The carts roared by and the wooded structure rattled in it’s supports.
Places you can go:
Ferris Wheel
Roller Coaster
Food Court sponsored and catered by Mama Milly
The Haunted Maze
OOC Rules / CW and TW
Only Staff is immune to this new batch of fear toxin. By entering this event you consent to your character being microdosed with fear toxin upon entry.
Feel free to reblog fun things you find or outcomes you get.
Feel free to rp with each other about said event just don't do it on the event posts so they don't get too lost int he shuffle.
Do NOT start major plot points here with myself or others. This is just supposed to be a fun social event
Do NOT start fights with anyone if it's 'what my character would do' I highly recommend not to bring them into a situation like this.
TW / CW: This is a halloween event. It is supposed to be scary. I have not tagged anything. But themes include gore, rats, bugs, animatronics, dolls, blood, knives, unsafe conditions, severed limbs. None of these have visual components only written word. Please proceed with caution. X out any time.
Currently I am finishing up the hyper links as this is the last post I needed to complete several items. Please if you're missing a link give it a few minutes refresh and try again.
It was firstly to make myself better than my father. I would be the first of my family to graduate college. You see I grew up on a far not far from gotham it did well supplying the city with needed food. I loved learning but my father did not take kindly to my ambition.
I took psychology specifically to maybe help him, my mother who has been suffering for years, and myself.
Even with my studies... it did not hold off the person who answers this now. Nor did it stop my father from taking things into his own hands.
No excuses. Just facts. Now with that unpleasant past drawn up. I really must get back to work. It's nearly halloween and so much still needs to be done.
Deathstroke? I know we made the deal some time back. Are you still planning to run bat and pig security at my event this year? I've sent blue prints for the space for your records and planning. It begins at dusk and ends at dawn. Food and water will be supplied if you want it as well.
If not please let me know. I will need to hire back ups.

"I most certainly am, and will see you soon. Looking forward to seeing what you've cooked up, and I've taken the special inoculation you've sent me, of course."
OOC note: This is a new strand of fear gas special for the event, I've been told by Scarecrow's mun, so no bats or anyone else except for the workers are immune to this.
The work is nearly done. Actors have been hired, informed, and inoculated. Medics are on stand by. Security is the best bribery, money, and information can buy.... it's all falling into place just need a few brave souls to test the dosing...
*From behind holding a bag of supplies and decorations. Scarecrow sits down.* Hello. I've noticed you watching for the better part of the month. You're a cloak but I don't know if your a rogue or hero. Can I help you?
She froze up in fear at his sudden appearance. Feeling in that instant like a ten year old child on Crane’s experiment table.
Though this one was too young to be the Crane from her universe, it was always the same.
“I don’t know if I’m a rogue or a hero either,” she said, voice flat with warning. “I’m making sure you’re not putting anyone in danger who didn’t buy a ticket to be.”
Scarecrow nodded to her and set down his supplies and crossed a leg over his own. He then folded his hands on top. He was indeed young for Cranes. 35 and still spry. "I do cause plenty of chaos on those... unworthy... of their sense of security but I run my events differently when Halloween is involved." He began to explain even turning his voice modulator off.
"I do not charge for the event, I let the city know by ads in the paper and flyers across the city and also word of mouth... I disclose I mircodose and make sure to use heavily tested amounts. I do not let those under the age of 18 into my events. Even small amounts on developing minds... can cause life long effects." He rambled calmly detailing his methods and events.
"If they can choose to die for a country they can choose to go to a haunted house of my making." He huffed. "Further I do pay professional workers and inoculate them. I hire medics to be on stand by mostly for my workers sake but if it has ill effects on the event goers. Some people thing they are braver and won't be effected than they really are. It's common despite the clear warnings I give."
He motioned to his building which had a roller coaster and Ferris wheel rising behind it now as well. "The fear gas is only for the indoor portions. If you go through the doors of the haunted house... you've accepted the conditions."
"Now. Who are you? I assume you know who I am. Or it's not hard to guess my name with my chosen costume." He leaned forward interested in this new unknown before him.
"Ah familiar with my counterparts." Crane was getting used to this. Being displaced. "Hello Flamebird. As I said I'm different than most. I admit mistakes and harm I've done in the past but I've adjusted. Arkham isn't a complete waste of resources it seems."
"Of course. I need to keep changing my formulas and keep the Bat on his toes. Like I said I use it with people who are unworthy of the security they have." He frowned behind his mask at this.
"I do decide who it is yeah. I do mind collateral and try to reduce it but things happen with Gas. I know my answers won't make you happy. You know I won't say the 'right thing'. So why ask and hurt yourself?" He remained calm throughout this his posture only slightly to lean back more.
"Habit and training." He held up his hands to the warning dropping it. "I said I started. You don't have to believe my own progress. Back home I used to be much more violent, more deadly, less care about who got gassed. Arkham showed me I like to work with my hands and I do like to scare people. I also got slapped down a few pegs by other rogues so I needed to figure something out... so for the past 6 years I've been doing these Halloween events. They keep me focused and more tame for longer periods of time." Crane uncrossed his legs and moved to stand. He had made progress despite the person before him not believing it. He wouldn't believe it either if he was in their shoes. Yet it was true. He'd been improving.
