Strangers Like Me||N and Red
N followed Red for the short distance to the cave, where he watched, still standing, as Red settled down. N noticed that most of Red’s Pokemon seemed interested in his presence, which meant that Red must not speak with too many people up here. Understandable, given the harsh temperature. But all of the Pokemon seemed used to these living conditions. The heat and light given off from Charizard’s tail were enough to keep N warm and as comfortable as he could be given Red’s hostility.
Hello there, he greeted the Pokemon, noticing that they all seemed to be friendly at first glance. He wasn’t quite sure what to do now that Red had invited him inside, and he didn’t want to ask any insensitive questions. So, all he said was, “Thank you, for inviting me in here. I didn’t expect to find anyone way up in the mountains.”
Espeon's tail wagged slowly, a smile seeming to come to his face. Hello strange human, he replied, coming over and sniffing N's legs. Snorlax snored, Blastoise and Venusaur both at least looked at him, and Charizard gave a small sigh, not particularly interested in anything but taking a nap. Pikachu nestled into Red's lap as his trainer started gently kneading his fur. Pardon, Blastoise, Venusaur, and Charizard act like grumpy old men sometimes....
Red glanced up from Charizard's flame. ".....not many come here..." he murmured in reply. It was true, he had very few challengers, especially lately. Green came to check on him occasionally, but that was generally it. People just avoided Mount Silver. And Red liked it that way. ".....it is rather odd....for someone else to be here...."

They’re like the only trainers who are actually… growing up
Strangers Like Me||N and Red
Red scowled slightly. He didn’t want to deal with this. “…..Red…..” he replied simply, before turning on his heels. “….you’re cold. You should come in.”
Pikachu let out a soft “chyaaaa” at Red’s back before looking to N. Don’t worry about him, he said. Red is just very sick. He’s kind once you get to know him. He just doesnt know how to deal with people.
N sighed as Red turned away from him. He was surprised, however, to find that Red’s Pikachu wasn’t as aloof as his Trainer. In fact, he was grateful to the Pokemon for explaining the situation to him. N, of all people, would try to understand Red as patiently as he could.
Thanks, he replied, kneeling down and scratching behind the Pikachu’s ears, fascinated at being able to see the rare Pokemon he had always heard about. Well, at least he was kind enough to offer a place for me to stay, at least temporarily. Shall we? He smiled at his new Pokemon acquaintance and rose to his feet again, following Red.
Pikachu smiled, not seeming perturbed by the fact that N understood him. He will grow to trust you in time, he tried to reassure, before running after Red and hopping up and onto his shoulder easily.
Red walked into the cave and sat back where he had been against his charizard, whose tail flame continued to glow brightly. The fire type yawned in greeting when N entered, before going back to his nap. Red's espeon perked up, tail swaying side to side and watching the newcomer.
downpour | Leaf and Red
Missing people kind of sucks, huh? Leaf could relate. She did sort of disappear without telling anyone, and sort of regretted not doing so. Maybe she should have called Green more often, just to check in.
Leaf kicked a rock and frowned, it being a little late to just casually call up an old friend and be like, “Oh hey, sorry for not calling you sooner, but better six months later than never, am I right? Huh? Huh?”. Her stomach lurched at the thought of him being angry. Yuck.
Shaking the thought from her head, she leaped down a small ledge, making a beeline for her secret base. It was a cruddy, ill furnished little thing with a futon and a small satellite pc.
In other words, it was perfect. Just enough room for Leaf to stretch and have some time to herself. Why didn’t they have these things in Kanto? Did everyone in Hoenn have a base? This was awesome. It made her feel like a child again but instead of forts, you made rad caves for you and your friends.
Another pang of guilt twisted in her stomach when thunder clapped and lightning struck just outside of the base. The sudden change in weather made her screech a little, but good for her that no one had been around to hear it. Not even a second later it down poured. The rain wasn’t gentle, coming down hard like bullets and Leaf groaned. Wonderful. Any plans on getting to that Treetop town were down the gutter until the damned storm stopped.
There was a figure, however, in the rain. Was it a trainer?
"Uh, hey? You need shelter?"
Red wasn't entirely sure how he felt about Hoenn. One minute it was hot, the next it was raining, it just wasn't fun for him. And of course there had to be a complete and utter storm now, when he had no idea where he was, or where the nearest Pokemon Center was. He couldn't call out Charizard to shield him, or else risk the fire-type's life... And none of his other pokemon could really shield him from the elements.
The raindrops, so mild and delicate, felt like knives piercing his skin, dots of red blossoming on his pale form. It hurt so terribly that he clenched his jaw tightly, trying to stifle the cries bubbling in his throat. Pikachu let out a sound of concern, sniffing the air to find shelter.
"Uh, hey? You need shelter?"
Red almost hadn't heard the girl, focusing so much on the pain. Pikachu, however, had. The electric type's ear twitched as he looked her way, cheering before he ran to Red and tugged on his pant leg. The champion glanced up slowly, gaze mostly shielded by his cap.
"........Leaf....?"

Before you is a gift wrapped in a pretty bow. Inside is this sweater and a note. “Happy Holidays from Pokewonders RP!”
Red stared at it. ".....are those feathers.....?"

Hello~
Strangers Like Me||N and Red
N had hoped that this Trainer was a friendly one, but it seemed as though he wasn’t altogether pleased that N was there. The stranger stood as if he owned the whole mountaintop.
A name would have been nice, N thought somewhat bitterly, but awkwardly gave his reason for being there.
"Um. I’m N Harmonia.. I’m just traveling from Unova and this was one of the places I ended up. What about you?" The green-haired man tilted his head, wondering if now that he had introduced himself, this new person would be a bit more friendly.
Red scowled slightly. He didn't want to deal with this. ".....Red....." he replied simply, before turning on his heels. "....you're cold. You should come in."
Pikachu let out a soft "chyaaaa" at Red's back before looking to N. Don't worry about him, he said. Red is just very sick. He's kind once you get to know him. He just doesnt know how to deal with people.
