And you can't really read it, but my necklace say "I wanna be a cowboy baby" which is my favorite Cmat song. I made the necklace and earrings for this look when I saw her in Philly last month 💖

Costume balls at Library of Congress are always so much fun! This ball's theme was 250 years of American fashion. Unfortunately, I didn't get my mod 60s look done in time. I threw together this cowgirl look about an hour before I got on the train.

Posting my She-Ra cosplays during pride month>>>

I love Perfuma so much! I made a costest for her pretty much as soon as I watched the show. Soon after I completed this look. Watching queer characters exist in cartoons without their plot centering on their queer existence is so refreshing. I loved watching her relationship with Scorpia, and was so excited to hear her creator confirm she is meant to be read as a transgender woman.

Fun fact! This costume is made with (almost) all plant yarn! The clothes are bamboo and cotton yarns, although if I remake her I will pursue better plant based yarns, as these aren't the most sustainable. However, a good bit of it was thrifted! The petals in my hair were acrylic yarn unfortunately :,(

Also, no, I did not walk around the con barefoot, I just took a few photos. Please don't go to cons barefoot!!!

My "cherry blossom baymax" fit for the DC Cherry Blossoms 10 years ago. Even though I'm still living just outside of DC, I dont make it in to see the cherry blossoms every year. There is so much overcrowding and I tend to get exhausted just thinking about all the people that go. Im happy so many people get to enjoy them though, they are beautiful 🌸
