He’d already been up for an hour, working out in his room, and now he’d decided a run was the only way to shake his cabin fever. Sports and annoying his sister were easily two of his favorite ways to spend a day, so when she hadn’t replied to his early morning texts, he decided to take matters into his own hands, knocking loudly on the door as he reached her dorm.“Hey, Scar, it’s your brother, wake up!” He tried to avoid disturbing the entire floor by being too loud, but he knew he’d have to be pretty unbearable to get her attention, raising his voice as he tried again. “C’mon, little buddy, it’s a beautiful morning, the sun is about to rise and I’m ready to get my fuckin’ run on!” Part of him felt bad for whoever Scarlett’s roommate was, but not enough for him to stop, banging harder on the door at her lack of response. “I’m two coffee’s down, Scar, I could do this all day…”

Scar groaned as she heard a bang on her door, holding her pillow over her head and scowling as she heard her brother’s voice through the door. She definitely was not a morning person, not when she was younger, and not now. But for some ungodly reason, Josh seemed hell bound and determined to turn her into one. Which she already knew was a loosing battle. She hoped pretending to be out might work to convince him to leave, but when the banging persisted, she crawled out of bed, throwing the door open with a dramatic sweep and unceremoniously yanking him into the room. “Fucking hell, Josh! It’s barely 7 am??” She’d been having a rough enough week as is without her idiot brother waking her up at the ass crack of dawn. “Whoopdie do for you.
