Whatever advice he's giving is to the benefit of both Lucien and Elain. We love and appreciate him for this.

Jurian has seen some shit, but he's still fighting on behalf of humans and helping a fae high lord's son through his emotional baggage.

There's a reason Lucien considers him a friend. There's a reason Vassa lets him near her. Maybe a bit closer than has been let on. "They're at each others' throats" speaks to a lot imo.

He is underrated, but in this house we stan a complex and intriguing character.

and was hesitant to say more and was like "you know i can't-"

she was reluctant to say more about lucien in the next book as though anything she would say would be spoiling things, but she isn't reluctant to talk about many other characters. hmm 🤔🤔 v intrigued
