firstoffianna:
「♞」”I doubt that is true given your admirable status to our country, I’m certain you trained your student well.” Another smiled flashed at her. “But I will take that praise and hold it with all my might.” Diarmuid had a few encounters with her infamous student but nothing of the clash of spears ever happened, oh what a shame.
There was a chuckle to her remark, his heart lifting from her praises she offered him so easily. “I shall heed my words for you more often then! A honorable warrior deserves nothing more but to raise morale.” He believed in good charisma for others in light of keeping the fighting spirit live and well, as for being a knight the pride was also built from that. “And it seems to me it’ll be three if it keeps up this way.”
Hive city had its ups and down from what he experience so it certainly weighed differently for others who spent more or less time here. “Some say its better than home,” He raises a hand to gesture a shrug.”With no grail here it does make the purpose of Heroics at a null point.” That was perhaps the charm of the city. It was going to be an adventure if she was to see half of the things that happened within the walls of each sector and its inhabitants. “It would be my honor to clash with you and may even gain a new trophy upon my spear of a worthy battle. But alas until you gain all that you lost I shall be gentle with you.” There was a smirk now on his lips as he teased the other, a wink to join after.
▰ ▱ ♚…A grin would grace the features of her face as she would nod proudly. Indeed she did raise a fine warrior, but she was allowed to be rough on him as she pleased. ❝ I suppose you are correct. Though as a teacher, I am allowed to be still harsh on him and say he has many things to improve on. ❞ Even though he left as a fine warrior, there was always room for improvement.
A spark of amusement would rush through her as well as some joy. She always did enjoy some praise as she didn’t get it all too much. Except for when it was pretty words when someone wanted something of course. Maybe it felt better to her when it was actually something from the heart or truthful. ❝ I look forward to hearing more of these pretty words Diarmuid, ❞ she’d say with her grin still in place. ❝ Better be sure to say them to me everyday. ❞
Her brow would raise in a slight question though at the mention of no grail. The woman of course had her assumptions of it, but she made no comment about it whatsoever. As she was certain information would come to her in time, and so it did. ❝ I see...Then we get to live a mundane life here as much as we are allowed then? How quaint. ❞ Though she supposed it wasn’t such a bad thing, maybe a tad boring though.
❝ Diarmuid... ❞ Hir name would pass from her lips as she paused for a brief moment before probably giving him the most stern look. ❝ Are you suggesting that you be gentle with me just merely because I have become handicapped? You have the audacity to say such a thing? Clearly you need common sense to be beaten into your brain. ❞ Getting into his personal space she would look at him eye to eye with a slight grin on her face. ❝ I might have to teach you a lesson boy. ❞
