The house where endless amount of memories were made with the gang, the death of Jon during The end, and he witnessed possible death of Tom by those rockets, then a few years down the line brainwashing of Tom and Matt to the point they are not friends and fighting on opposite sides as they blindly follow the RED LEADER his formal friend. Future edd is traumatized by those events, and it doesn't help that his friends are no longer by his side to help him cope, so the only thing he thinks of is ending this before he witness it. So killing his past self would save him from the hellish Future that he already living through.
