Yasammy Horizon Zero Dawn AU!
Brief Overview of my AU:
Yaz - Oseram Scout → Travels solo around The Claim and the Sundom, where she explores Metal Ruins in search of new technology.
Sammy - Carja Merchant → Stays with her family in Brightmarket, where they run a merchant stall selling fresh produce.
They connect after Yaz stops by Brightmarket after a long day of travel.
Yaz was used to traveling alone, always preferring to rely only upon herself when exploring vast landscapes. However, meeting the lively merchant changes Yaz's perspective, finding herself staying nearby Meridian despite her adventurous spirit. For the first time in a long time, she finally feels a sense of belonging and companionship, understanding the allure of finding a place to call home.
After staying in the Sundom her entire life, Sammy finds herself developing a sense of adventure after meeting the new traveler. Hearing about distant lands piqued her curiosity, eventually building the courage to ask Yaz if she could explore these lands alongside her. At first, she thought being away from her family would bring discomfort. And yet, no matter the distance, she never truly feels far from home.
I hope to write a fully fledged story about this AU at some point :)
