Aviation High School Graduates Federally Licensed Students The High School Aviation Academy in Des Moines, IA opened its new facility with a 58’ x 20’ Schweiss hydraulic door. The academy has graduated around 1,500 students since 1943 that are federally licensed. Spy Hop digital media arts group in Salt Lake City, Utah, is a student learning center that works with about 100 kids at a time and sees upwards of 18,000 kids a year. Custom Food Wagon for Fairfax Knights of Columbus Schweiss Doors teamed up with the Fairfax Knights of Columbus to build an air-conditioned food wagon after the KC’s realized that their food wagon had seen better days after 40 years of use. The 10 ft. x 20 ft. food wagon kiosk, that will be used for St. Andrew’s Catholic Church functions, is equipped with an 8 ft. x 7 ft. Schweiss hydraulic door that can also be used as a rear entrance and a place inside to store BBQ equipment. Schweiss Doors supplied engineering design and some manpower to get the food wagon done in record time and ready for its first use at the Franklin, Minnesota Catfish Days.
