16 bunnies
Maybe I am fae kin. I do see myself as a fairy and maybe I am a fae creature that has features of a deer, bunny, and a butterfly. And I can transform into each or have learned to transform into each.
My canine identity feels separate from that.
I feel very connected to butterflies, deer, and bunnies but the connection is not strong enough to be a full fledged identity, they all just kind of feel like parts or fragments. I also feel fairy/fae like most/all of the time, it feels similar to my dog identity but different because it’s more humanoid.
Maybe I don’t actually identify as human at all, I just identify as something humanoid or human looking. The only reason I identify as human is because I like how my humanoid form looks (though I do experience dysphoria about not having a canine form) and I experience the mind of a cognitively complex being. But other than that, I don’t relate to many human things, and I don’t believe I function well in the human world.

Oh, to be a tiny mermaid to escape the heat
Rebranding my self care as preening has actually helped me a lot in taking care of myself. Once I started thinking of washing my hair and cleaning my face as preening, i became so much more inclined to actually do it.
