The Princess of Wales will visit the city of Reggio Emilia in northern Italy on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th May, marking a significant next step in the work of the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood as it expands internationally.

Spearheaded by the Princess, the visit will focus on early childhood development and forms part of a high-level fact-finding mission to explore leading international approaches to supporting young children and those who care for them.

Building on the Centre’s Shaping Us Framework, launched in February 2025, the visit will examine how a shared understanding of social and emotional development can connect with approaches in other countries working to prioritise the early years.

During the two-day visit, Her Royal Highness will spend time with educators, parents, children and civic and business leaders to see the Reggio Emilia approach in action. The visit will highlight the importance of the environments and loving human relationships that surround a child, and the role they play in shaping healthy development from the earliest years.

A Kensington Palace spokesperson said :

I just read that Miss Wally died. Yankee Wally, she was very vocal with this whole show, and I’ve only spoken to her in passing. Very nice lady. I believe she came around when all of us started covering this shit show. An OG. The fucking squidcunt squad made her life hell. Assholes.
