CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT- When @meghuntillo received the brief for WEREWOLF? THERE WOLF! She knew right away this book needed some visual distinction as part of Red’s design- She needed to be a very contemporary kid, adventurous and comfortable in her skin. In Meg’s initial sketches, she played with some different ways to design Red to push her stylistically. As Meg developed the Big Bad Wolf to be bigger, it made better sense to make Red smaller, wearing clothes she might grow into in the future-which also made her shapes a lot of fun to draw.
