Lils put together this video of all the go-pro footage she had. Let me tell you, she was really on the fence about purchasing that damn camera, but I’d like to say that it was worth it.
As a side note, this only takes us up through Munich, because that’s when Kate left (which is why none of us are happy at the end).

To summarize...
My year in Scotland was the best year of college so far, if not the best year of my life. Everyone who I met there, from EAP friends to classmates in my discussion tutorials, had some sort of impact and made this time something that I wouldn’t trade for anything.
However, I’d like to do a special shout out to Lyndsey, Lily and Kate, because they made this year above and beyond my wildest expectations. Every day was a new adventure with those three; we shared a lot of meals, laughs, and nights out together. I’m not sure what magical thing I did to get placed in the same flat as these ladies, but the universe really did right on this one. They put up with my incessant love for One Direction (Kate used to hate them and now “likes a few of their songs”!), my American pronunciations, and my germophobia. They dragged me to the gym when I really didn’t want to go, and had hour long dance parties to Maroon 5′s “Sugar” with me. They gave hugs when I was feeling down, and made me laugh every single day. This year for my birthday, they went way out of their way to make it as special as possible, and they definitely succeeded. And while this is just a few of the infinite highlights, I can easily say that I can’t imagine what this year would have been without them, but I can guarantee it wouldn’t have been nearly as fun. So basically, this entire summarizing post is a huge thank you to them for being a part of my year abroad. And now my life (conveniently). See you in California, Crobags!

Well it feels a bit cheap writing this after I’ve been home for a month, but I’ve been so busy that the time never seemed appropriate to round out this blog. But hopefully the next few posts will do just that!
After Amsterdam, Lily, Lyndsey and I went to Rotterdam for a night, then Utrecht, followed by a final night in Antwerp, then we said our goodbyes in Paris the next day.
Aside from Paris, the other three places were enjoyable experiences full of good food and funny pictures.

Amsterdam
Technically, between Rothenburg and Amsterdam, I spent a night in Utrecht. But I'm going back there tomorrow, so those photos will have to wait. Amsterdam was really nice, and especially exciting because I got to reunite with some family friends for the day! Ron, Colleen, and their three kids Annika, Nolan and Anton adopted me on Thursday, which was not only really fun, but also really nice to see some familiar faces from home. We walked around a lot and visited the Van Gogh museum, but the highlight was definitely getting to just hang out with extended family. Yesterday, Lily, Lyndsey and I walked around a lot, and ate a lot of good food. Today, we're in Rotterdam, and tomorrow to Utrecht!
